Have you already gotten a new GoPro?? I wanna get it for you! I see there’s a HERO9 out, but I don’t know anything about them. Can I email you? I see your Facebook and insta but I’ve been taking a break from social media.
We are headed to CR, Panama and Columbia this weekend for a couple weeks... Thanks for the heads up on the mota in Panama! We are CO residents, and we often forget about our normal here... 🤟😎🤟 Enjoy the Pura Vida en Costa Rica my man!
Yo just got back from uvita waterfalls and skull rock caves...bro the ocean was 85 degrees at the beach yesterday so freaking crazy but felt amazing!!! Been doing some filming for my friends RU-vid channel...we’re off to la fortuna tomorrow for a few more days!!! I freaking love it here man!!! Your channel was one of my main inspirations for coming out just wanted to reach out and say thanks!!!
Thanks Chenz, Im glad I found your channel bro! I want to eventually buy some land and build a house there. I cant wait to come visit for a while and check everything out. I know several people that live there but its always good to meet new ones. Pura VIda
I'm living under $1000 a month, too. And hoping to maintain off-grid once we settle. I completely agree with your answers to these common questions. I think you nailed it.
@@MMAnimalSanctuary_Rhonda 😯😜 that's how Costa Rica works isnt it!?! Lol this place is weird like that. Question, how long have you been here? Also about how long did it take you to get to that budget? Thanks for watching!
@@Chenzaloon yes! It's exactly how Costa Rica works, and that's part of its charm for me. I've always been an avid outdoor gal, used to write articles about the different weeds in my yard that I would eat for dinner and the snakes that would come to visit when I lived in the Appalachian mountains. As far as how long it took me to get to that budget... I've been living on that for years because it's the entirety of my income. I have lupus and draw SSDI, can't work. So I hit the ground here on a shoestring after being stuck in Morocco for a year during the lockdowns. Now, this is my daily budget I'm talking about, not the extraneous stuff like air fare and the $12,000 USD it took to ship all of our animals here. That was my partner's contribution. But day to day? We just don't spend. We are working on a travel bus to live in on a few acres in the mountains of Turrialba, completely off grid. That's the long term goal. Produce our own power, our own clean drinking water, our own food. Well, with the exception of meats. I'm not a vegetarian, but I will be if I have to slaughter anything to eat it. Let's just say we'll be raising a lot of fruits and vegetables. LOL
The little tiny bugs could be ( no see ums) at least that's what some people called them in Puerto Rico. In Mexico ( jejenes) they are called. Gnats in English.
Huge fan bro , I live by Clearwater Florida and my goal is to start a farm in Costa Rica, but I plan on visiting a lot before then, thanks for the videos I feel like I’m actually there !
I'm a costa rica citizen living in california, and was looking to buy a house in nicaragua due to price/surf.. Then I saw they will give you a 8 year prison sentence for smoking herb... Looks like going back to costa rica around playa hermosa hopefully.
Awesome thanks for the answers. S.O. and I will be down your way in july for a few days in San Isidro and then Uvita. More of a vacation but also just to get the general feel of the country. Maybe we will see you and the doggo! Do you still reccomend SimbiOsa? It looks like some people got some food poisoning there.. Could have just been a bad batch of food though.
Hey! Awesome!! I will def be around! Thanks for watching! as for SimbiOsa, I thought they had great food, but I really doubt they will be able to make it thru this next low season.. Unfortunately ths next season is going to whip out a ton of places, we just didnt make enough money during our summer. I havnt heard anything about the food poisoning but they dont seem like they have made much traction since they opened.
@@Chenzaloon Any other food recommendations? Also, You had said in one video not to use AirBnB. Is there another good way to find some place to stay for a few days?
Hey, nice to see ya back in costa rica! Looks like you had a great visit with your family though love the video with your sister.. love the questions and answers. I'll be there in July, so maybe we'll meet in my travels❤🏝
Enjoying your vids and I have to laugh about the bugs. At our cottage in Ontario Canada we experience “dock” spiders with a 4 inch diameter, large 2 inch cockroaches that have wings, snakes that somehow find their way inside ( Mississauga rattlers) and are poisonous, and after dark the mosquitoes outside are so bad that your arm gets black with them. That’s not to mention the army of ants if you leave any food out and the mice that find their way inside too.
Sweet vid man, that waterfall looked so sick! Where abouts in costa are you at the mo? & Have you seen many crocs out on your longer walks and adventures?
Saluto Vincenzo...The only other time that I have seen Greg Owen (Admin @ "We're Moving to CR") comment on anything was to scold wrong-do'ers in the Group :) :) :)
Part of the reason I haven’t been down since I was 12 them damn spiders that would be in the house 😩 couldn’t sleep they was everywhere in the house but I’m over it and facing my fear lol
