I felt like the only person who broke up with their child’s father during their pregnancy. It’s a situation that no one ever sees coming. My daughter’s dad cheated on me during my pregnancy and I moved across the country to birth my child with my mom as my support. It was embarrassing and stressful. The most important thing is that my daughter is healthy and we are both happy; just the two of us. I hope whom ever has shared this experience heals and finds happiness within.

Your sadness when you read if Brett and u are secretly dating.. maybe he’s your soulmate, maybe he’s not, maybe u guys had to separate to find your own identity and will reunite gods timing, or maybe he just belongs in your past.. it was so nice watching you grow with Brett and without him

Carli I feel you on everything you say!!! I put into the universe you will meet someone at a country music concert or a musician. Possibly someone who is at Starbucks!!! My friend once told me “girl who are you going to meet the burglar that breaks into your house”! Lol . Carli all I can say is do all the things you love to do. Oh and write down all the wonderful things you want in your husband and be SPECIFIC!! I did and I enjoyed single life practiced self love to the point that I didn’t even want anyone! But I wrote down what I wanted in my future husband, and I prayed for him everyday. I prayed that he was loved,safe,that he thought of me and then I prayed that he would make it safely to me closer and closer each day. Guess what Carli where I prayed was in the gym everyday!! And then guess what he walked up to me in the gym❤️. I never told him I wrote of him and I never told him I prayed for him. But one day I will. All in perfect timing. Also I was a single mom of a boy ❤️. It’ll happen and I can’t wait until it does❤️.

I had an older wise woman tell me. You have to love yourself. We all think we know what that means, right? But, you wouldn't let anyone treat someone YOU love poorly. Mom, dad, brother, sister, your child, you wouldn't allow anyone to disrespect them. You have to treat yourself the same way. I literally let go. Stopped looking. Prayed a very specific prayer. Or put out into the universe the very specific needs and wants in a partner. My list was literally 10 miles long lol but when my husband found me. Every single thing I prayed for. I saw in him, and I just knew without a doubt he was truly sent to me. I have been a subbie of yours for years, and I also pray your person finds you ❤️

My partner and I split during my first pregnancy. The heartache was truly awful. Crying daily. The fear of parenting alone absolutely terrified me. But I can't believe looking back how incredibly strong and empowered it made me. I think I was even a better mother for it...amazingly enough! We are back together now (which I know is not always the outcome) but I'm grateful for the struggle because I will never settle for less again. I am a fearful avoidant, leaning more towards anxiously attached. I just started seeing a mindful meditation therapist that is educated in attatchment styles. I encourage everyone to work on your attachment style (work to be securely attached) because if you don’t address it and heal, it will always always always pop up in every relationship you have in your life. It really is fascinating stuff. All has to do with your childhood

I left my boyfriend when I was 4 months pregnant. I was so young and scared. He turned very possessive and I no longer felt safe with him. The pain I felt after feeling betrayed by my own child’s father was so intense, i really thought I was going to die. I had my beautiful daughter and decided to not put his name on the birth certificate. Best decision I’ve ever made. Honestly, The happiness and freedom of raising my daughter alone is immeasurable and FAR outweighs the feeling of pain I felt about losing him. It actually makes me laugh to think I ever felt anything at all. Because what I feel for her IS my world. There’s absolutely no room for anything else besides her. That was 15 years ago, and I’ve never regretted my circumstance once in all those years. I actually consider myself lucky and sometimes feel sorry for other women who have to raise their kids with some man. Ew. Haha

He loves God and his family and even through the hard times we have overcome. I truly believe that there are good men out there and that the right guy will come along. I pray daily for my daughters that their path is full of joy, success and love. I'm sure your father is sending his angels to watch over you and your beautiful baby boy and is watching out that the right person will be filling your days with the love you deserve. I may not be in your shoes but the struggles are there in the matter of our daughters health but am thankful that she is in my life and what comes with it.
