You are truly amazing I spent only 3hours for preparation watching your videos and I passed the test today with 100% success I have no words to thank you
Ah, that is what I was looking for. Thank you! I had only about 5 wrong answers from all the questions you have. Need to learn them by heart before Friday. I am so nervous. The videos are really helpful in a way that you get to see the types of questions you will be asked. Edit: I passed first time! Some of the questions that I can remember (I was soooo nervous that I could not tell my name lol) The dog calor The hymn Admiral Nelson Age to vote and which year is from 21 Welsh Parliament Responsibility as citizens London theatres Florence Ninetingale
Woooh hooo congrats, well a bit late but hey, yesterday at Stratford Centre, I also passed my exam. My wife and sister were telling me to do it since 2018, that i should do it and how it's good for the future. Finally on 31st January 2022, my sis booked it without telling me, and she also ordered a book without telling me and told me read and learn. Hell, she even paid for my Life in the UK Test. So, i was under so much pressure because I literally had just 10 days to prepare, but she said she believes in me, since she knows i was really good at memorising, although I wasn't so sure. But hey, I passed the test. Me? I just studied from the apps, no videos anything. I read the book Ince and thought waste if time. Better to just keep doing the test again and again and again. Over 960 questions I had to practice and 4/5 days in a row, i kept doing those questions again and again and wwoowww, I passed
@@CoolnCarin5241 congratulations! Well done on you and your relatives for pushing you to get the exam done and dusted. Well, it is not the easiest exam and material to remember but it is doable with some willpower and perseverance .
@@atama203 Hey Aileen, thanks for the reply. Yeah, it just feels like a big heavy boulder being lifted from my shoulder and feel so light. For the past 4 years my sis bothering me to do "Life in the UK" test. Basically, few weeks ago, she just said look Pema, you love history and I've seen you watching 100s of documentaries about history. For someone like you, this should be and would be a piece of cake. So, she told me to do just 1 practice test, and I scored 70% without revising and then she said passing marks was only 75% and I was like - wait a second, I got 70% without even practicing, then think about if I practice again and again, plus all the knowledge and experience of having seen so many documentaries.
Thanks, Dan. I did my test today and passed it 1st time. Your videos are very informative and up to date. There were only 4 questions that I was unsure of. Nevertheless, I passed. Also, I only practised on one LIFE in the uk test app and watched these videos. It's still valid for 2023! Good luck, everyone!
i watched your videos and i passed for the first time (2 days ago) , everything you explained came in the test , very helpful and well explained. thank you!
@@ismahanezaid3527 Thank you! watching this videos really helped me because they were well explained. the test was abit tricky, but because i had revised enough and understood i managed to pass. also if you can try exam on the Life test in the UK 1-17, practice all until you get atleast 22 correct ones on each , you are good to go. good luck.
Thank you for your kind words! I would be very grateful if could take 10 seconds to write me a Trustpilot review - thank you! uk.trustpilot.com/evaluate/uklifeprep.com
I founded your video the night before the exam day and watched all episodes then I passed it!! Thank you so much that was incredibly helpful and much better than study with official study book!!!
I would like to express gratitude towards your service. I was able to pass the test with confidence in first sitting from learning from your online course. It has greatly helped with my preparation in preparing for the test. This test was my pending task for some years because of your online course I was able to achieve it. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the materials from your platform compared to the book. You go straight to the point and offer great tips for the exam. Thank you so much.
@@raymheanwilson1939 the online programme covers everything you need to do know for the test. It is the best summarised version of the book that just goes straight to the point. So saves our time and energy. Any names of famous personalities that we need to know is also flagged the by him. Good luck.
I have passed mine today! Pretty easy and finished in less than 5 minutes. Your videos have been very useful for me as the questions are presented as the officials on the test. Good luck to you all! :)
Thank you so so much for all the videos and the tests. I passed the test on the first try. Your videos made all the difference in my preparation for the Life in the UK test.
I passed my test today ✅😊. Thanks. I got one rare one. I would like to share in case could be helpful for your audience. It was about a poem of William Wordsworth (the type of flower he mentions in one of his poems, which is the daffodils 🌼)
I passed my test on 23 September . It was so easy. Thank to dan for your video it helped me a lot. Also my advice to people who are still learning. Practice on the phone aswell. Take your test August or September. You will avoid many historical questions.

Hi Dan thanks for prepping me for my test tomorrow. Just one question about Lotto playing age , the answer was incorrect and the updated info is" As of April 2021, the minimum age for National Lottery participation will move from 16 to 18 years old. " Today I had my test and the questions were not all that easy to answer to, such as in Scotland, the Criminal Court has how many people in Jury? I guessed wrong and the answer was 15. Another question asked in Victorian period, how was the free international trade promoted? Was it by dropping tax? Or by reducing Working hours? Or.... I could not remember now! Passed the test anyway so thanks 👍
Hi, the age for the lottery is now 18, however in the official handbook dated from 2018, it is still 16 and it is what we need to know until they release a new version of the handbook.
Thanks Dan I passed the test yesterday this was very useful. Though there were some tricky ones like - who was the PM when the Scottish assembly was formed. I answered Tony Blair as he was the PM in 1999 and that’s when the assembly was formed too. I think I got all correct. Your videos are great 😊 🙏
Passed on first attempt! I can honestly say that buying this course was the best £40 I have spent - made a very difficult learning experience very easy and significantly less stressful! Can not recommend enough. Thanks Dan!!
The best ever video!!! I attended the test today. The questions on my test were presented 100% as in this video, except 1-2. When I started studying for the test I checked the range of tests available , and Dan’s videos grab my attention. They are absolutely great, easy to remember + the clear voice. When I was doing the test I felt like he’s telling me the answers😀 I highly recommend to watch the video Thank you so much, Dan!
PASSED today. I browsed through the book just few days ago, started reading on 2nd January. Finished reading on the 3rd January (not really focused, don't think I remembered much details) and just focused on Dan's videos on 4th Jan as I am working the next days. I watched all the available videos on this channel as I really like how the notes are organized. It is not just random questions and answers. I don't like just memorising the questions and answers, I really want to understand the chronicle of events. and Dan's videos are like that - explains first before asking the questions so we know the reason for the answer. Hence its easy to remember things. i don't normally post comments on videos but I am very thankful and still amazed as to how organized Dan is on the notes taking so I am posting this comment. I only used the videos on this channel but i can imagine that if one takes the paid course, it will be worth it. Thank you, Dan!
Hi Dan I know you put lots of hard work into the resources you made. I listened to all your videos which were so easy to understand in the past two days and I just finished my test today and passed at the first attempt. I can't thank you enough. Stay blessed
Hi Dan , wrote my life in the uk test this morning and passed on my 1st try 😃want to say thank so much for creating such a great course . Finished my exam in 10mins even the invigilator was like that “that was quick”😂
I can tell this helped me a lot . I did this at the end after watching all the videos from the website .i think there were like 2 or 3 questions with true or false that I wasn’t sure about it ,but for the rest i knew the answers . I took my life in the uk test on yesterday on 17th/august/2024. This man has put a lot Of work into this . Congratulations! I can t thank you enough for it !🤩
Dear Dan, your tutorials are exceptionally well and I think the best, I have passed this morning, my short preparation was entirely on your tutorials, I think I got all the 24 questions correct . Thanks and gratitude.
Thank God I’m pleased to announce I passed my test yesterday at first attempt!!! Thank you so much Dan for your content. This particular video gave me the confidence to book my test and just go for it! I’m super grateful I took that leap of faith! ❤ I’d say probably 70% of what’s in this video was in my test. The remaining 30%, listen… Jesus took the wheel!! I’d suggest going the extra mile and doing some additional reading so you’re not caught off guard. But a pass is totally achievable. All the best everyone! 👏
Passed the test today - bought Dan's course yesterday - went through it three times - everything in the test was off Dan's material in the course - barely took me any time and the test was done - format of questions was exactly like Dan's course - brilliantly put together - buy the course it is well worth it - best on the internet by a long way - I never studied the book - thanks Dan 👍
Hi could u help how did u do the revision I meant did u just practice those questions or watch the video which video you did u watch RU-vid or course am so confused where should I start from like should I just watch all the videos in RU-vid and practice online course or watch online course and watch video too 😭😭😭 pls help am so confused and my exam is in like 4days
I passed the test today. Thanks for the videos, they were really helpful in conjunction with the book and a mock test app. I got an interesting question today which I hadn't seen before. Worded something like this: 'Who can hear cases in the Youth Court in England, Wales and Northern Ireland'. I think the correct answers were 'specially trained magistrates' and 'district judges'. Other options were 'specially trained officers' and 'social workers'. However I didn't know the answer at the time. After using the app and watching videos on youtube I was very certain of about 21 out of the 24 questions. It took me 10 minutes and that was me being very diligent. If you haven't passed yet, keep watching these videos and doing mock tests. I will say that reading the book does help to actually understand things and will aid in getting those rouge questions right that you probably will encounter.
Hi I think I spotted an error on the question about the national lottery, the answer should be TRUE. You have to be over 18 years old to enter the national lottery As of 1st October 2021, the National Lotteries Act 1993 increased the minimum age for sale to 18 years. I know this video has been realised more than 2y ago and I appreciate that most of the questions are the same in 2023, thanks for your hard work but it can lead to mistakes on the exam day in 2023. thanks :)
@sihameid I studied for about 5 days or so. My studying was listening to RU-vid questions and answers while driving. I listened to past questions and watched youtube videos. When the questions start repeating to about 80% then you are close to ready. Keep doing past questions and make sure to know the answers by heart. I finished the test in 10 mins. Now I can't remember much. To be honest, it's more of formality. After that you can visit historic sites as a hobby to grasp the knowledge. For this you have enough time. Spend 1 to 2 hours daily doing past questions you will pass.I assure you. You can also do the free online tests. To take it a step further you can pay for access.
I have confusion with one of your questions: minimum age for buying national lottery is 18, as per the change made in 2021 ( not 16)! Could you please check?
National lottery - mistake U have to be 18 not 16. As of April 2021, the minimum age for National Lottery participation will move from 16 to 18 years old. But in the book life in the uk there is age 16 and we have to use book for answer so 16 u should mark on test
