What biblical wisdom did you gather from this video of you don’t mind me asking?

@@PrinceInawRakah You actually trying to throw shades here about this!? Are you within a mile of a question here ? If you feel indifferent about what she said...your entitled to your opinion. If I have to point Biblical principles about what she presented here then please go outside and play... adults only! And I say that with godly love believe me.

She mentioned earlier from 1Cor 13 that love keeps no record of wrongdoing. If someone truly loves you that is how he/she is to prove that love. While they are dating it should also be apparent. It's actually loaded with wisdom just ask the Spirit of God to grant you hearing ears and seeing eyes Is50:4 @humbleservant3070

@@Make_his_way_known thank you! Oh no I didn’t. It’s hard to tell you a specific time to ask, it mainly depends on the progression on the relationship. And how open the person is to having these conversations

@@HildaBoafo yes sometimes the past could hurt so they don’t have to go into detail. If you know you may not be able to handle the ‘truth’ about their past then you can skip the question but I wanted to know so I asked. This is not a rule book per say, just questions I personally asked

What are you looking for in a marriage? How do you handle conflicts/disagreements? How easily do you forget and forgive? What is your love language? What is your take on divorce? What are your dealbreakers? Do you believe in tying? What if you gift me a car, and God lays it on my heart to give it to my pastor? What does the ideal Sunday look like? Do you have a mentor/accountability partner? What is your relationship with mother & siblings? How/why did your last relationship end? Are you in communication with them? What is your relationship with them? If you don’t get your way, what happens? How many kids do you want? If we aren’t able to have kids, what happens? How soon do you want to have kids once we’re married? Are there any family illnesses? Family culture? How will the bill be split? How do you envision our life together? Do you like me as a person?

@myneighborhood3466
@myneighborhood3466 6 месяцев назад
single people, asking "how much do you make?" to a person you are marrying is totally ok!! ask also how much debts they have... all these are important cause they will cause you trouble in the future. ( ask please, don't end up with a jailed partner or a scammer, you will never recover if you don't know now!)
@mg137b

I agree too! But in my culture it is mostly appropriate for women to ask men this not the other way around since men are expected to be the provider but i think it is slowly getting better.
@patc2515
@patc2515 7 месяцев назад
You said, when a couple can't have kids, men will sometimes leave or divorce. Women do this equally. Those types of questions should definitely be asked over time while dating. Please don't put these questions off and then explode on your partner with all of these questions at once later down the road. Also keep in mind that people are capable of growth and change. If they can't answer yes to a question or even a non negotiable, this doesn't mean that they are against it or that they aren't able to get there. This is true for men and women alike. Having a different ideal number of kids in mind is also not something to break up over as this is something that can change beyond your control. You don't want to throw away a great relationship because of this. Don't forget, God says that the priority of a husband and wife is the marriage, not the children. Yes the children are a top priority to you but your primary duty is to your marriage. As a couple, learn to cultivate love and respect. Learn each other's love languages, learn to communicate honestly despite discomfort. Check in with each other and never forget to build your friendship and enjoy fun and exciting things together regularly. Be willing to compromise and be willing to set goals and highlight your path to that goal. A significant and often over looked concept in a healthy marriage is the topic of Masculine and Feminine polarity. Come together to cultivate and nourish your masculine and feminine energies so that you can grow as individuals as well as stimulating each other to be your best selves and to keep the spark alive between you and your spouse or future spouse. Soulmates don't exist, it's all about coming together as a team and being humble and willing to do the work together and that never changes. Never has, never will. Never forget the human that you and your partner are. Forgiveness is crucial and love and respect are critical. Do the work to heal your sexuality and bring down the walls around your heart, mind, and soul. Show up emotionally and resist the natural urge to fall into complacency after you've been together for a while. Chemistry, spark, etc. Comes from a man and a women who are in their masculine and feminine energies and when they have trust, love, respect, and build a real friendship on top of their marriage duties to one another. Wives, pursue your husband and never stop enjoying and appreciating being pursued by him. Husband's, never stop pursuing and dating your wife, and never allow your self to forget that another man would be happy to take her from you. Date your spouse and never stop. Intimacy means (into me you see), be known by your spouse and tear down any walls that go up between you and your spouse. If something bothers you, hurts you, etc. say it to your partner quickly and don't let it fester or build up. Almost all negative emotions towards one's spouse can be avoided or prevented. Always ask yourself when you're speaking to your spouse, "am I being 100% honest in the way I said that, or by not saying it".. your marriage is not owed to you, it can come to an end without your wanting it. Never stop earning your partners commitment to you. Most importantly, building, protecting, and serving your marriage is worship to God. Never forget that.

Hallelujah,,,,full of wisdom, just to add something, Real foundation n i mean real foundation of Good lasting marriage is following biblical principles n commands of God to Marriage, like the God's formula of marriage, Each person to be aware of his/her roles,n play them 💯%,As a man be the man the bible calls you to be,Provider,Protector,king,Leader,Burden Bearer n priest,.....n nvar let your wife play these roles for you,Nvar,step up your position/role or else she becomes discouraged/disappointed he loses respect for you,(that's now giving the devil a chance/door). For the wife,,,The bible calls you a helper/,Always stick to your lane to help n nurture,A helper doesn't lead, am,Help n nurture your husbands purposes/visions/mission/business,..Nvar try to think you are equal,Always be submissive,let n i mean let/allow the last answer to every decision be his,(this gives him mind stability n sense of leadership)stand with his opinion/decisions even if sometimes its against your will,....or else he dislikes you n treat as his fellow man/outsider If either man or woman can't step up to their biblical roles, dont get married, it will be rough road n you know God hates divorce, If he is submitted to God,the better, because God will speak to the family thro the man first, God endorses order, The rest a house is built on understanding, its rooms filled with wisdom....study the word n seek Godly knowledge about marriage, Have wisdom of marriage b4 settling down, Last part,A Good partner comes from God,let God choose for you,let God be the reason of the marriage, Marry for the Glory of God,what he starts, he will see it to completion,n mostly fight for it,...Lastly Marriage is a good thing,the bible starts with marriage(Adam n Eve ) n ends with marriage (jesus n Church).....its a good, good ,good, things in the context of God principles ,.....Godly principles eliminates crashing/it sets boundaries/n holds each person accountable n allows God to manifest in the marriage ,Be blessed y,all

This is a gem. Married and struggling and I know one of the reasons is because i didn't have this insight at the time a got married. I did not knew about myself, i did not knew anything about marriage and i never asked those important questions and I know if I did, things would have been so different. So thank you for sharing that and to the single ladies reading my comment, don't make the mistake of not addressing these topics before marriage. Don't be scared to loose him better for you to stop because you are not adjusted on some of these, than get into marriage and be full of regrets. Thanks again.

It's not too late. You and your spouse can grow and change together. Come together in prayer about it, and if it's hard or awkward to talk about together, own it and say that out loud to your partner. Cultivate your feminine energy and help him to learn about and cultivate his masculine energy. When you have your masculine and feminine polarity in place, you're much more likely to inspire him to do the things you need and want. Women in their healthy, divine feminine energy have a super power that so many women don't even recognize or have never known. Soft, feminine, respectful, and caring wives inspire their men to provide for their needs and desires and if you get that piece in place and then go to him and fully communicate what you want, need, don't want, etc. You may be surprised by the outcome. If you're not already deeply aware of the concept of polarity between a man and woman, look into it. There's an excellent channel from a Christian woman called Awwlexis, amongst others. There's another channel called the Happy Wife School. Binge both of those channels and incorporate that stuff into your life. I promise, It's life changing if you pursue this while pursuing God and your husband at the same time.

Very very very important to know a person’s spiritual background before becoming one with them. Most people may want to truly follow Christ but they haven’t overcome the generational curses in their bloodline. Becoming one with them, you’ll be fighting spiritually because of lack of awareness. Very good video, a lot of these topics need to be spoken of more. Most people settle for the appearance and find themselves in trouble when the person’s inner truths are revealed.

Today i dont even know what to do. Praying God will make a way for me. These questions are very important to ask, we cant underestimate them. You will also find out if He made the decision on the right bases or on a wrong note. It's must be that he heard God, Or had a dream😊 but this are also valid too.

Ive always said this, and I realized this is what old couples 50+ wind up doing anyway. When I even bring up serious questions like this when in the middle of dating they think im a mad man.. But let me tell you the consequences of NOT doing something like this… You get too involved and heavy in tge heart, and months in youre running off the fumes of charisma and then you get into these serious topics.. You’ll bump heads on one of these serious topics and set it aside. Then one day it’ll arise and it will upset you more then. you’ll draw a line in the sand.. And it’ll be over something important like religion and the barriers of said.. Then you’ll break up with tears in your eyes that didnt need to be there because you discuss these serious topics in the beginning.

I am taking notes oh. If you have more videos like this is store, I'm here for it girl. Youre a big inspiration ♥♥ also wanted to ask, what are the things you did when you decided to start dating? Did you tell friends that you are looking for someone, did you go out more intentionally, did you have dedicated prayer times with God about it.. Or did it just happen?

Thanks for watching dear! Hmm for the most part it just happened 😂 (I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing lol) but when I met my husband I actually wasn’t seeking a husband at the time. I was focusing on my next phase in life and he said he’ll support me so that’s how it kinda happened. I do believe in being more intentional about places you go if you’re seeking a spouse and actions you may take but ultimately prayer too! Know what you want and focus on growing and developing yourself. God will definitely bring a man that’s moving at the same wavelength or higher your way x

Love this questions. What do you think recommended approach would be to ask these questions? A sit down conversation directed mainly at the questions or slipping it into conversations?

Slipping it into conversations for sure so it doesn’t sound like an interrogation

This is a very good content. However, i disagree with the tithing thing and also with the example. Tithing isnt for christians but generous giving is. Yes, give as the spirit prompts you. Commiting to giving (whatever %) to the gospel of Jesus Christ is a good Christian virtue.

What about getting married when you have kids at home ? Do you ask them what they think ?

Yes I think it’s important to understand if they are comfortable with it and what boundaries there will be so you can protect your kids too 🤎
