Hey Justin, thank you so much for this explanation! I've accidentally queued videos into Media Encoder but I've never known how to use it. I just used it on a project after you posted this video and it saved me at least an hour of waiting around. Much appreciated!
Hi Justin, Thanks I always wonder whats the difference by the way congrats on your channel it's so awesome to see how much you have grown in the past year!
Queue is also a great feature when you have a slower machine and can't allow the system to get bogged down encoding when you need to get other non-video projects completed. A lot of times, I'll fill up the queue and then come back to it just before I go to bed. I then close out my other programs to maximize the rendering process while I sleep.
I always use Media Encoder, I find the rendering a lot smoother, and the multitask experience while rendering is much better. Also, I usually encounter errors when rendering 4K videos with a bunch effects when using export. Good video.
Hi platano. I tried it in media encoder but the output is different specifically the luts used. It's a little bit darker in ME. Is there a way to rectify this difference? Thanks
some of my videos on my mac that i queue to render on adobe after effects take literally 24 hours to render but then if I use media encoder it's even longer! wish they would render quicker! especially my car light trail videos!!
How much RAM and Graphic card should be used for After effects and Premiere. Mine is taking more than 12hrs for just 15sec video. In Adobe media encoder
For some frustrating reason, earlier when I queued a video in media encoder, a yellow warning icon appeared next to the green checkmark as soon as it was done exporting. Caused my video to turn corrupt and unplayable. I've been using media encoder for a very long time and this has never happened to me once
Please Help! the 2019 update have been a nightmare for me - i dont know why but CUDA GPU acceleration is not available in 2019, tried a lot of stuff from forums but no help. So after spending 2 days i finally uninstalled 2019 and reinstalled 2018, If anyone finds the answer to it pls share
Hey Justin, I was using Media Encoder quite a bit until I realised it was rendering out a slightly different grade to what I had done in Premiere. Have you noticed anything like this?
I'm opposite, 9/10 I'll queue because while my vid is exporting I need to go back into PP and do a thumbnail and stuff. Had to start direct exporting a while ago though when Encoder got weird and glitchy but they seemed to have sorted that with an update.
Hi Justin, I was wondering what the media encoder was for, thanks for explaining! I do have a question, if I make a 1 minute video and I need it chopped up into roughly 4-5 pieces, somewhere between 10-15 seconds per chop. How would you do that? The video contains multiple pictures, so it's not like I can precisely pinpoint it's end like in your video
I have a question about embedded title sequences. If i am doing vlogs or something and i change the title text in the assembly line, Is the encoder going to read what it is now when it hits it or what it was before when it hits it?
Thank you man i was trying to do Queue and i had the error media encoder is missing. and then i realise i had to press export thanks that Picture saved me.
Love the video, very informative! Do you know why when I export in Premiere Pro, I get two files (m4v and mp4) but when I export from Media Encoder, it works fine? It sucks because sometimes when I export with Premiere, it may take an hour (4k footage) and once it's done, the files are corrupted. Any information on this would be helpful. Thanks Justin!
Every time I use media encoder my png files will get discolored and stretched out and the export gets ruined. That happened using 12.0.0, 12.1.1, and 12.1.2 - tech support didn't really have an answer either. :/ Weird, huh?
It's so long when you just want to create but then every day you go by another big problem which can take weeks to get a fix for smh it's one after the other but thats what happens when you're working with these extremely detailed editing software's i guess
I wondered the same thing, and I just tried it. After starting the rendering in Media Encoder, I was able to close Premiere with no issue! It was nice to be able to multitask while my video exported.
Can anyone tell me if newer versions of media encoder are compatible with older versions of Premiere Pro? I still use Premiere Pro 2017 because I'm tired of all the pointless updates and I'm trying to use media encoder 2018 but when I hit que nothing happens and also when I already have media encoder opened and try to que a file.
I have used Adobe Premiere Pro for years now and have queued and exported for my files and I still can't find one advantage to exporting. I have always wondered if there was one. Is the quality better when you export? Is it done faster than if you queued? cause if its the same quality and speed then why wouldn't you que all the time cause exporting paralyzes you from working on premiere again until its finished when you que you can continue to work and you can do multiple files like you said. Just something I have always been curious about
Hey bro, your videos really inspires me to study video editing, but my biggest concern is where can I get video clips to use. I have special condition so I am not able to make my own video clips. If you or someone there knows where I can get it I would highly appreciate it.
Did you ever find out the answer? That's what I'm looking for. I want to queue a full version of a video and then an edited one. But I don't want one to affect the other.
Is the queue saved to the cloud? meaning if I queue them. can someone access it from another computer somewhere else and export them in a way they want?
Why in gods name does the QUEUE button have the keyboard shortcut and not export. like a thousand to one most editors use export, then once in a while we use queue. If there was a way to set export up with a keyboard shortcut that would be amazing. I hate using the mouse to click it, such a waste of time. I assumed by now that would've change haha, but no.
@@JustinOdisho I didn't realize it left a small comment aha, I would of just said "Perfectly summed up what I was looking for, thank you and here is a small tip!"
