CW (the TV network) levels of garbage, but your videos and the roasts/critiques you see about it here on YT make it all worth it in the end. (After all, it wasn't my money that went down the drain creating it. And after recent events I think the investors deserve to lose as much money as possible, so I hope KK keeps doing her thing for as long as she can.)
I’ve enjoyed it so far, but then I don’t watch these things through the lens of quota hate. Disney’s Star Wars world building is gorgeous and they do seem to be perfecting the practical effects usage too, now, which I appreciate. Thus far, the story doesn’t seem as solid as Andor but is a definite improvement on Obi-Wan, I’d place it someplace just under Mando, and though clearly aimed at a younger audience it’s not *too* painfully panto or threat-free for adults. The secret evil twin conceit is a tad cliché but at least, as Qui points out, people actually die! Well maybe… this *is* fantasy sci-fi, anything’s possible. I’m entertained enough to watch more, and looking forward to more of you!
Hilarious actually, some how they have made something look so bland, and feel like a bad fan fiction at the same time. Would have been perfect for the Disney channel 15 years ago. Also taking the bet Trinity is Osha's teacher the whole time and faked her death and it'll be a twist at the end.
What are the chances of most anything in this cannon breaking nonsense? A master killed by a knife, Plagueis not being able to pull off force sensitive clone baby things and these witches just do it at will, these witches existing in the first place? And it's only a few episodes in. This stuff just sucks.
I’ll never understand how a lightsaber, which is a blade made of plasma that can cut through blast doors and over 20’000C, won’t kill anyone despite being stabbed into or near vital areas. But a small kunai like knife to the chest, albeit the heart, will. Guess everyone should carry knives now
because people are dumb and dont understand that heat radiates out from the source and when you have a superheated blade of plasma being shoved into fragile tissue, anywhere it touches is now a vital area. you are essentially being cooked from the inside out which is what actually kills you, not really the entry wound.
Im about 40 hours in and I have wet myself laughing at least twice Charlie is the film critic of the internet age. Its subtle, clever but kind, gentle and hilarious critique. I will drop another tenner on the YT thanks come july. Love it. Keep it up.

Yeah as soon as I saw this I laughed hysterically and turned the show off. Just in Kenobi we saw age a get ran through twice and didn’t die. Sabine also didn’t die from the Sabre. But a dagger (not a big blade knife) kills trinity? 😂😂😂😂😂
So the acolyte is fire in space, wodden acting and according to the makers a "not so secret gay agenda", cause current year. The show is a parody in itself.

don't forget, that knife landed dead center of the chest, where the sternum connects the ribcages together to protect like 70% of your vital organs meaning it also is somehow deadlier hitting at best cartilage/bone than plasma entering possibly the spleen or intestines.
@godsblood85 why does she even want to kill the jedi???? She's the one who went psycho and set the home of the witches on fire (which was all stone and yet somehow caught fire and spread incredibly fast). The jedi had nothing to do with that. I've never seen people so desperately try to explain away horrible writing. The extreme loyalty to disney and their bad product is insane.
Estrogen must be the key... Quickly Jedi become trans! This is why they had to delete the scene of Master Ti being killed by Grievous, it just was not believable that a woman could die in such a way.
@@RobertStewart-i3m I feel like how bad it is is kinda overstated. I heard so much hate for this show and thought it must be the worst one yet only to be surprised when it wasn't as bad as Obiwan. I mean, it's not very good but I also don't think it's as bad as everyone keeps saying.
Completely changing canon, not just for what we know for the modern movies but there has been like 23 Old Republic books... I don't think any said you had to kill if you ever drew your lightsaber. Horrible writers, shitting all over existing storyline and lore.
The Acolyte is a big joke. It similar to the Matrix. It was funny that Indara used the force to shut her friends mouth from laughing. 😆 I said the same thing you can survive a lightsaber stab but not a knife. I feel bad for Qui- Gon Jinn even more. Qui- Gon got screwed double time, There is more but I’ll leave it at that. 😆
To die with a knife is an insult to the Jedi order. It's like Hagrid getting insulted that Harry's parents died from a car crash lie. It's insulting to the fans.
