Omg thank you so much for this video! I was looking for a way to protect my new Gucci loafers! I thought about doing this but was scared of damaging the soles! Again, thank you! Just subbed💕❤️
The Mr Quickie at Megamall B Basement has been my go-to for protective soles (Gucci, Ferragamo, Coach) since 2010 😅 They use vibram too and as of June 2023, they charge Php1,020 per pair. The put it on the upper half and on the heel so you can still see the brand and size. Am thinking to use the tape on the rest of the exposed leather part. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Hello. Love the Gucci loafers :) In your experience are they comfortable for prolonged wear, like an entire workday? Do they cause sweaty feet if worn for long?
This is a clever alternative to getting the protective soles put on by a shoe doctor. I am going to try this on my Louis Vuitton Cherie Slingback Ballerinas. I got them awhile ago, but haven’t used them because they are very slippery. I can’t wait 👏🏼👏🏼
hi sis! Thank you for sharing this tip! Kaya pala your shoes have parang lines in them, I thought they got torn because of usage! hahaha! sharing lang din, I used to have my shoes protected by the repair shop in Greenbelt. I'm sure you know which one. But they charged nga 2-3k per pair. I tried Mr. Quickie, also in Greenbelt. So far, so good naman. They do it well. 1k per pair. :)
I use a leather conditioner to clean mine. Though I always check my shoes when I get home so I can clean any dirt or stains right away so it won't "seep" into the leather iykwim. It's a different story with scuffs though, mine won't come off anymore 😅
Hi! Not overlap pero dikit na dikit sya with each other kaya no gaps. Parang sa sour belt candies, sorry for the lack of better description 😅 I hope you get it though!
It leaves a sticky residue, yes. The soles remain in tact, it becomes a little matted though so I think it kind of peels off the finishing layer that they put on the sole. I think most sole protectors will do that too though.
