Well, just found my next baby blanket pattern! Was thinking to do your block stitch again, but I like this one too. I’m going to play with Caron Cinnamon Swirls this time. I bet this Pattern would look beautiful in Caron Jumbo Ombré too.

What a pretty stitch! I'll have to practice trying to get my stitches to look like yours....so nice and even. I've always had trouble with that. Thanks for the clear instructions and clarity of stitch creation. I'm sure I'll prevail :) It will make a great scarf.

Oh oh ohhhhh. I misunderstood! On row 4 I took it as pulling the 2 half doubles apart and single crochet between between them. Not the between the sets of half doubles. Made a pretty, interesting fabric. But didn't look like yours . Re watched, foung mistake,and all is right with the world! Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I just finished a lap blanket using this stitch. It worked up very well. Had to frog another attempt using one of the other videos you posted because it was crooked and after reading the comments on that video it was a common problem
