Actually chan chose the members then went to the survival show with the members he picked and then jyp will assess if they will debut all together or not but in the end jyp gave felix and lee know a chance and they all debuted. Thats why chan felt really bad when felix was eliminated bcoz he was the one who picked felix.

yeah so they basically debuted through a ‘survival’ show where members could potentially be eliminated. Lee Know and Felix were eliminated at some point, but in the end they also debuted along with the group!! and also yes chan in fact chose who should be part of the group because he saw potential, skills, etc in them, and so the members of the survival show were hand picked by chan himself :D

Something I would add to this is that Seungmin, I.N and Lee Know can rap as well. You should listen to Maze of Memories or The Trutle and the Hare, they rap there. Also, Changbin is also a amazing vocalist (you maybe remember it, in the song 24 to 25 he sings amazing). And basically, all of them can do everything, like you said :)

So 4 memebrs are born in 2000 Hyunjin was born in March. Jisung Felix and Seungmin were born in September. Felix and Jisung were born a literal day apart so we sometimes call them twins and since Seungmin was also born in September we sometimes call the 3 of them together triplets. Stray Kids are very close and really do consider each other family, they even have a funny family skit where they dress up as a uncles/aunts ,mom/dads and such. It's a very chaotic family and everyone kinda is cheating on each other which makes for some funny moments.

Here are a few facts that this guide left out. Stay is the fandom name. Bang Chan trained for 7 years starting at at 13yrs old. He also hand picked the members 2017 before they were put through the survival elimination reality show. Lee Know was eliminated first in ep 3 or 4 because he messed up his lines on a performance it was sad but Lee Know held his head high but still brought a few tears to your eyes. But when Felix was eliminated in ep9 because he didn't know how to speak Korean very well. Only the basics when he moved to Korea at the age of 17 yrs old. it was a tear jerker because everyone was crying. The first person to hug him was Han, then Bang Chan said he would never leave him and then the hug between Changbin and Felix is priceless. The 3 couples that everyone ships are Han/Lee Know, Felix/Changin, Felix/Hyunjin. but basically everyone ships Felix with all the members but he is shipped mostly with Changbin or Hyunjin. Stray kids runs with the ships. Its cute. 3Racha has over 104 songs discography. They write, compose, arrange and produce 99.9% of their own music. Not all songs released or on any album they have some on sound cloud or Stray Kids RU-vid Channel. 3Racha also has their own rap music and rap names. Changbin is SpearB, Han is J One, and Bang Chan is CB97.

I don't think you understand that Minsung is short for Minho + Jisung, as in a couple. (Because they have very close relationship) Dispatch is korean paparazi like agency who like to expose celebs life and scandals. They usually release a list of dating celebs on January first 6:31 that's what Minho referring to

felix and chris didn't know each other before joining the company but chris felt the need to protect felix as soon as they met. he said he used to be really strict to him (as the leader of the group) cause he really wanted him to do well so they could debut together and he also found a home in felix as they’re both australian, that’s why it hurt him so much to see felix get eliminated. they also grew close very quickly while they were training and he has said he feels like felix is his other half and soulmate multiple times so yeah, they love each other very deeply despite only meeting 4 years ago

I GOT IT and CLOSE by HAN are both skz-players which are songs that they only post on youtube and like all of their other songs produce themselves ofc (it’s mostly solos and duos)

I feel awkward everytime reactors react to this guide especially at Lee Know's section, some clips that are not even like important for the guide? People already let you know Chan is fine being called Chris, and yeah, we call him Chan, Channie, Chris, occasionally Christopher if he's done something egregious (usually involving being half-naked). Fandom joke is that he's Chan when he's being the good, industrious boy, and Chris when he's being thirsty or hardcore. I'm really tired, so I might have just missed it in the comments, but I didn't notice anyone clarifying the positions thing. SKZ has no official positions except leader. Period. We and they sometimes still say things like "main vocal" or "lead dancer," but those are shorthand -- they don't exist. Since all eight members are vocals, rappers, dancers, and visual, and they move around in the songs and do whatever suits them and the music, it was pointless to try to keep them tied to any particular position. (Also, the reason Felix isn't listed as a visual is because SKZ doesn't have a designated visual, partially because of the whole "no set positions" thing, partially because they're _all_ visuals, and partially because the person most frequently labeled with that term isn't comfortable with it and has had it used against him to dismiss him, his talents, and his work, so it easier to just avoid the term altogether and let Changbin be their "binsual" instead. That said, there are three units: the official producing unit, 3RACHA; the fandom-named Danceracha; and the fandom-named Vocalracha. (You'll discover that STAY sticks "racha" on the end of everything. The most comprehensive one got copyrighted into oblivion a few months ago, but you can still see it if you watch another reactor's reaction to it (search "SKZFLIX: THIS IS STRAYKIDS Part 1 (2021 Introduction)" and "THIS IS STRAYKIDS Part 2 - 3RACHA (2021 Introduction)." They're literally a documentary. Of the guides that are still up, TeaNoSuga's guide is probably the most well balanced (also slightly outdated), but Hyunjin Nation's guide is pretty good, if also outdated and slightly Hyunjin focused. Honestly, though, since every guide has its pros and cons, watching several (even if just on your own time) is probably the best method. Just remember that no matter how many guides mention positions, it's misinformation.

As of now Stray Kids has no fixed positions except for Chan who is the leader since all 8 of them are all-rounder from dancing to rapping to singing, and all 8 of them have songs right under their names as producer and they are divided into 3 units 3Racha: Chan, Changbin, Han. Dance Racha: Leeknow, Hyunjin, Felix. Vocal Racha: Seungmin and I.N.

Chan was given permission by JYP (the company) to choose the members he wanted in his band making him ultimately the leader. This was the first time this has ever happened as companies usually make the groups. Felix and Lee Know were eliminated in the survival show but because JYP saw they worked better as 9 (there were originally 9 members until one of them left in late 2019) than 7 so they did a live performance and made the fans vote for 9 or 7 members. 9 members won so Felix and Lee Know were allowed back on the team. Chan and Felix didn’t know each other in Sydney but because Felix couldn’t speak Korean very well when he got to Korea, he was closest with Chan. I.N also specialises in singing Trot which is a traditional Korean tune (? search it up since im not very informed on it) You should stan our boys since theres never a boring moment as a STAY ;)

Bang Chan choosed all members. Stray kids was a project group so JYP gave them a chance too being a totally self producing group ( because they know that these boys are f**king talented). They(mostly 3racha) write all lyricses and they compose all songs and they attend the arrangement of their %40 of songs. They attend their choreographies too. Bang Chan choosed group's name and he even create their group logo. Last thing everybody should know about Stray kids is that every member is all arounder and there is not an official position for members right now for some examples everybody knows Han as a rapper but actually he has got a really strong main vocalist potential too. Changbin is a rapper, vocalist and producer. Bang Chan is vocalist, rapper,producer and dancer. Lee know is dancer, vocalist and rapper ... Other members are all arounder too. Sorry for bad English

Just going to add info that you want to know: The clip you mention about the aussie is part of Survival show (The making of SKZ) where Bang Chan (Trainee for 7 years & gain lots of reputation in the company) entrusted by JYP to form and choose his group members among the company trainee. The members can be eliminated if they not up to standard (Lee Know & Felix) fans love them both so by the end of the show they given second chance. I wonder if you notice but Han and Felix birthday only one day apart (we refer them as Twin). 3/4 of 2000 born is September baby. Youngest I.N did have braces before, now its Seungmin that wear braces.
