Ingredients (for 2 servings):
1 clove of finely chopped garlic (4 calories)
1 finely chopped carrot (25 calories)
1 spring onion (5 calories)
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (3 calories)
1 chicken cube (27 calories)
2 cups of water (0 calories)
1/2 cup of water for cornflour slurry (0 calories)
2 leveled tablespoons of cornflour (63 calories)
1 teaspoon of soy sauce (3 calories)
1 tablespoon of hot sauce (15 calories)
4 eggs (312 calories)
Procedure:
In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add 1 clove of finely chopped garlic, 1 finely chopped carrot, and the white part of 1 spring onion. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water and 1 chicken cube to the pan. Allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and a slurry made by mixing 2 leveled tablespoons of cornflour with 1/2 cup of water. Mix well and let it boil for 2 more minutes until the soup thickens.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of hot sauce and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.
In a separate bowl, beat 4 eggs until well combined. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the boiling soup, stirring continuously.
Let everything boil for an additional 2 minutes. Garnish with the green part of the spring onion.
