I LOVE that you spend your time crafting and not re-organizing everything outside of their original packaging. That must save money as well as time. You have shown that your craft room is organized, accessible and usable! Love it! Thank you for keeping it real!
Thanks so much Vicky! Yes please! I would love more of this type of vlogI love seeing you face to face! Very organized creative space! Thank you for your ideas! I too have several of the same Ikea furniture in my creative space and I love them! So nice to have you back since Christmas! Hope yours was happy.
Hi Vicky, I loved seeing your craftroom. Your ribbon drawer was too funny! I'm afraid I have too many drawers like that, lol! Your bookcases are so neat and organized and I love how you have your Big Shot and score board right there beside you. Thanks for sharing your crafting space with us!
VickyWhat a lovely tour of your craft room,so nice to see where all that creativity takes place!!! Love your Ikea bins, shelves, & drawers. So when your next video comes out I will be able to see in my mind where you are working. Feel so proud to know you are our Greek ambassador of crafting!!! I would love to see more videos of you face to face, for different projects. Thanks again, & keep up the great work!!
Love the scream sound effect with your "unruly" ribbon drawer--too funny Vicky! Love your craft room--it makes total sense to me--and now that I see those drawers by IKEA--it makes me want them more--will be checking them out here in Boston! Great vid--thanks for sharing!
That was so much fun!! It is so nice to see you. You have a lovely sense of humor and phenomenal talent. I get so bogged down with organizing that I never seem to have the time or energy left to make something. Your room shows that you can have enough organization to make crafting effective without the loss of time and money. Thank you, Vicky!
Hi, Vicky! Your work is beautiful and thank you for sharing your room! I believe the organizer box on your desk (that holds the glue, acrylic blocks, etc) is the ANTONIUS from Ikea and is still being sold. (I use them in my Raskog cart). The best part of your room? All that glowing natural light! Love!
Thanks so much Vicky for sharing your craft room with us and congrats to the winner! Your room looks awesome!! I really enjoy the face to face videos like this. Would love seeing more. I'm surprised Ginger didn't make an appearance. My cat looks just like yours and his name is Ginger too. :) You are an amazing artist and I get so excited when a notification pops up that you have posted a new video!! :) You are an inspiration to me for sure! Big hugs from Kentucky!! xx
Thank you so much for this upload. It was really nice seeing your craft area! I'm not sure why, but it isn't what I expected because you like to dive right into your crafts. I also enjoyed that you kept it real and showed how you have your ribbon drawer. I hope to have a space that is dedicated to my crafts. I don't have a system or a place to craft right now.
I love your tour. I am going to get Ikea stuff too. You are so cool-I think we all have at least ONE drawer of shame in every room!! Much congrats to Amanda!!
FUN tour and absolutely enjoyed the drawer of shame! I guess you really are human even though I still think you can make cards and pages that are out of this world! LOL
I really enjoy the videos where we learn more about you as a crafter, so this was great! I appreciated how you show us a "REAL" but also organized and efficient working craft room, rather than a showroom that doesn't appear as functional. I have learned so very much about paper crafting from you....now I see some ideas on organization, too! TFS!
I loved it. Thanks, Vicky, for sharing your craft room! I can't wait to see your ten cards with the SSS February card kit, it is really adorable and I'm sure you'll create wonderful cards with it!
Thank you so much for sharing your crafting space with us. Loved seeing you "in person" and appreciate your willingness to be real - we all have THAT drawer! You inspire me to try techniques I would have avoided previously. Thank you for all you do!
I am beyond impressed. Your impeccably clean and organized workspace is an honor to see. Thank you for opening up your space to your RU-vid friends. WOW, Vickie! Wow - WOW - WOW!!! Do you do your incredible crafting as a job? You must be working for an organization larger, but similar, to Hallmark?
Thank you so much for the tour - lots of great organizing ideas. I like that the room is 'of a piece' - not just organized, but organized in such a way that all the components and storage solutions are integrated and work well together. A particular thank you for showing your camera set up. I always find it easier to create when I can quickly lay my hands on supplies. Someday I hope to be this well organized!
A beautiful craft space Vicky....well thought out and organized to work for you...Amazing order. Who wouldn't love to work in your Craft room. Congrats to the Winner....and Thanks for sharing your place of brainstorming and creativity. The Best of 2017 is going to come from this room....Thanks for all that you do for us and to help us on our journeys as crafters.Blessings!!KenOrlando, Florida, USA
Hi Vicky. Enjoyed your craft room tour. I also like to keep things in original packaging and in see-through containers - out of sight = forgotten for me. I enjoy your videos and am completely mesmerized by your beautiful art journaling. Thanks for your inspiriation. Sue
So glad you shared the camera info, I've been wondering about it since I think your videos/audio are of great quality comparing to many vlogers out there. Thanks for sharing! I'm planning on going out there with my crafting and you have been a great source of inspiration and resources.
I always love when artists make videos such as this. We spend many hours watching you work and looking at your hands😁, so it's nice to put a face to the name and work. Thank you for the organization ideas. It just makes me feel even worse about my craft room! 😉😄
Congratulations to the winner. Love your craft room and thank you for the tour Vicky. I really need to get to IKEA so I can get a few of the drawer units, they've been on my list forever
This was nice Vicky. It made you more "real" if that makes sense. I enjoy your mixed media videos so much. It was you that got me hooked on it following the death of my husband. The first year was really tough and the journaling helped me to express the things I was feeling. I am very grateful to you for that. You are a good teacher and hope that you will get back to doing more of those videos sometime in the future. THANK YOU.
Your craft tour was really great Vicky (by the way, Happy Name Day to you)! Coming from the same country as you I would have to say that one major asset of your room is the natural light coming from your window ... that is all the inspiration you need, ;-).Thanks.
I can`t believe how wonderful organized you keep your craft room. But it`s still a mystery for me, how you manage to find things in this mass of products. I love your work and the way you present and film your tutorials. It`s very difficult for me to watch other presenters. Either I don`t like their voice, their work or their way to film the whole process. Your presentations are bright and clear and I love it. Thank you Vicky.
Vicky, it was a great pleasure to see you in person! I love your videos, never miss one. I even signed up to Life Book because you will be there!! All the way from Bogota, Colombia, congratulations again on your videos and your craft room!!!
Vicki, Love the light your room has - everything in white make everything light and airy. Your ribbon drawer looks pretty much like my large basket of ribbons
Thanks so much for showing your craft room. A very pretty, neat room. I like the brightness in the room and the simplicity of organization, only half of the room you manage to store all the stuff and they are easily reached. Very nice.
... you just saw half of it... in that wall there are two more bookcases full of bins.....so 4 in total with 8 or 9 shelves each and each shelf fits 4 bins....lots and lots of bins but I just wanted to show the storage system not the massive product supply I have! LOL!
I think that seeing your room helps us newer crafters to begin thinking on organizing well since the beginning and take into account flexibility, efficiency and esthetics. Thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you Vicki for the tour of your craft room. It gave me some ideas to organise my area. I have to tell you that I really enjoy all your videos and I replay them often. Thank you again.
Wow, such an awesome craft area! I love everything about it! Your curtains are so gorgeous - wondering if you made them or did you buy them? Thanks so much for sharing - I hope that you do more videos where we can see you because it puts a face to the voice.
Hello Vicky, great seeing your room at last. Love the simplicity of it and brilliant light in the room. I especially liked seeing some of your work on display. There are many projects I have done after being inspired by your work. Thank you so much. I look forward to more of your work. xxxxxx
Finally, someone like me!!! Yay!! I need to see everything too, oh Your craft room is my absolute favorite I've ever seen!! Thank you so much! I thought all craft rooms meant everything put away in cabinets, but now I feel like I have a direction to go when I do get a craft room. ❤️☺️
Now that's organized. Your crafting space is to die for. I love how everything is visible, it seems like it would be easier to use what you have first (because you can see what you have) before purchasing more. I love how neat and tidy everything is and how most used items are within arms length. It's also so bright and cheery.
Vicky, you are so down to earth and funny! I think everyone has a drawer (or two) like your ribbon drawer so don't feel bad! Thank you for taking the time to share your "space" with us. The U.S.A. loves you (and Ginger too!) ❤ Nancy
I love your craft room and I love to hear you talk! Your accent is beautiful and your English is excellent! I have been watching you for years and love your style , especially the art journaling! Thank you for sharing your room with us!
Thanks for showing us! I love that you don't reorganize the package it came in! I don't either, it is a waste of money and time. The ribbon drawer was awesome! I love that other people do things like me. I need to work on having all the stuff I use right in front of me like you. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
tfs Vicky. I too have to see all my products with clear containers. it's so helpful. also I as well prefer to store stamps by the company who made them. I seem to remember what I have better this way. I'm getting a craft room make over this year and can not wait.
WOOOWHOOOOO! LOVE your updated studio tour, Vicky! I ALWAYS enjoy these vlogs from you and it is so nice to see your space. It is organized beautifully and it all makes perfect sense how you have it set up. I cracked up laughing when you showed your ribbon drawer of "shame" :-) Sooo cute! I think you are in the majority when it comes to some drawers or spaces that arent as organized as some others. THATS OK! Soo cute and very humbled you shared it all with us. Looking forward to all your upcoming creations. BLESSINGS from the Great Pacific Northwest, Lakewood, Washington!
Hi from Alabama, Vicky! I love your work and look for your videos first each time I get on RU-vid. You are so talented and your voice is soothing to listen to : ) Like you, I also enjoy other hobbies...sewing, knitting, refinishing furniture, and more. I would love to see your sewing area, and things you create there as well. I'm hoping you will have time soon to expand your room tour. It's beautiful and I love red, so I really like how you popped it in, but the room still seems to be a calm place to work. As always, I can hardly wait to see what's next ! Have a lovely day : )
Wow!!! I love your crafting space!!It's a good idea to store things in see through containers, cause I didn't realize it till you said it....but I don't ever use the stuff that I don't see. It was a nice surprise to see you in front of the camera today. Have a great day!!
Vicky, I know this is an old video but somehow I missed it. I love your craft room. I really enjoy watching all of your videos as you are SO talented. Thank you!!!
I loved your tour of your craft room. It's wonderful to see where you create all your fabulous cards and journal pages. I get so much inspiration from you. I also save many of your videos so I can view them again and again.
Thanks, Vicky! Of all the craft room tours I've seen, yours was the most inspiring to and seemed the most doable for someone with a non craft "day job."
I love to see you in your video's. I use to have an extremely small craft area, but we recently moved and now I have half of a sunroom with tons of light from 7 windows, my dear hubby has the other half. I only wish that I had as many stamps etc that you have. Needless to say I am very envious of you. I love your talent. You inspire so many of us crafters. Keep it going.
Awww Vicky, thanks so much for sharing your crafty space with all of us....I was so envious of all of your desk space, which I am lacking to the point of frustration, but it is only a 10' by 11' craft room so space is limited. I've realized that I also need to find another storage idea for holding the containers of my stamps and dies. I am physically challenged and the way I have them stored now is in a 2 drawer unit from IKEA but the problem is I have to bend down and sort through the containers (filed via manufacturer) to find what I want. It is the bending over part that really kills me to the point that I finally pull what I want but then just leave it on my desk until I am ready to create. After watching this video, I am looking at a shelf unit wherein I can store my things on the upper shelves to avoid this issue. Anyone else out there who has this problem or any ideas for storage for disabled persons? I also wish I had of considered a higher desk so that I could stand and create but I know I'd also need a normal desk as well. I have Googled about craft storage solutions for physically challenged people but to date haven't found anything useful. Don't kid yourself though...I have a mighty passion for this craft. I just wish that I could produce more crafty projects! Happy crafting to all of us, and until next time Vicky....
Vicky, I could work very comfortably in your craft room! And yes, I do like these types of videos where we get to see your lovely face from time to time. :) I think one of the reasons Lindsay The Frugalcrafter is so loved is because we feel as if we know her from seeing her face nearly every day! :) It also helps that she's good at what she does, of course, like you are. i'm a former seamstress - I worked in a bridal shop with a lovely Greek lady named Maria who could make patterns for any garment just by seeing a photo of the item. Listening to you speak is like sitting down with Maria again. :) I'm no longer able to sew due to my disability and I miss it. I made several of my nieces' prom gowns and wedding dresses as well as layettes and Christening gowns for their children, and my husband kept me busy sewing backpacks and down vests and even down-filled sleeping bags. Like you, any kind of craft can grab my attention!
I love how you have it all organized. I have watched quite a few craft room videos but by far yours is the best! I will organize my room like yous! Thank you so much! I love all of your videos & thank you so much for sharing & teaching.
We've been waiting for this one Vicky! Thanks for sharing! I have my table from IKEA! I love how affordable they are! These face to face videos are awesome! Thank you for all you do ! Love from Texas! ❤
Wow Vicky, gracias por compartir tu espacio de trabajo, realmente admiro tu trabajo... Desde que te encontré no me pierdo tus videos, mil gracias por tus videos y tips ❤💞😘
Oh my goodness, just looooove your craft room. Thank you so much for the tour. I am going to do something similar in my room if you don't mind. And Thank you so much for the links. You are just amazing and I love your work. You have inspired me and I have shown many friends and they love you too. And by the way I just love your accent.Oh and I keep my ribbons wrapped around little cards that are used for embroidery thread then put them into little storage boxes in colours so you can see what you have.
I love your organization! Before I moved into my condo, I had a separate craft room but now it is in my bedroom so I had to buy craft furniture that would allow me to put some of my things behind closed doors, but I love the orange cups/baskets you have over your desk! I think an Ikea trip is in order for me. Lovely craft room, Vicky!!
Thank you for sharing! I'm taking note as i'll move in a new house where i'll have a craftroom that i'd like to keep organized. I have two questions: i have a lot of sticker that don't stay in the plastic case (they're to large) and i cannot find a place where i can put my 12x12 and unfinished projects (i do mostly minialbums so unfinished projects are quite often a pain in the back, but i also use scraps to do cards in a second time so i need a place where to store them and easyly find them back). Do you always craft for the year period you are in or do you do crafts in advance? For example i tend to do christmas things in advance, as halloween theme. I also do some spare cards (like birthday or thinking of you or little gift for you things) just in case of unprogrammed events. Where do you store all those things? Last question (before this comments becomes a book): do you store your adhesives elsewhere? It takes forever for me to get scoretape or glue dots, so when i buy them (i buy them online) i just buy a lot and don't know where to keep them. Like a storage little storehouse where to hide them until i need them. Thank you for your patience and sorry for all my questions (planning and projecting a new house seems so difficult).
Thank you for the craft room tour, Vicky. I am in the processing of trying to organize my space and it is so challenging. I know once i finally get it to where it needs to be, I can definitely be more creative. I have just amassed quite a collection over the years and can't bring myself to part with any of it but i have no room for it all! sigh....one day, I hope it will be as organized as yours.
Thank you for sharing, Vicky! I like seeing your face! And your craft room. It's helpful to see how the pros organize their stuff and to know what products you find most helpful in organizing. Also, your video editing regarding the ribbon drawer made me chuckle! :-)
Hello Vicky, WOW ! What a craft room ! You've just given me the kick I needed to redesign my craftroom. Beautiful job you did. And it is nice to match your pretty face with your soothing voice and charming accent. Take care. Evy from Montreal, Canada.
So amazing to see the face and see your wonderful Craft Room. Now I know where your inspiration comes from. Glad we met. Thank you for doing this wonderful tour for us. Happy New Year. Warm Regards Murtuza
Thank you for opening up your creative space to us! I love it---and laughed out loud about the ribbon---I am with you! If you ever do another tour, I would love to see how you store embellishments.
