Thanks for sharing these cute gift knits! I don't knit with bulky yarn too often but my husband picked out some faux fur yarn and asked for a hat with earflaps. I knit him the Moscow hat in one afternoon. Perfect for a quick gift!

Love these suggestions. Thanks for the research! FYI - slight typo on the timeline It's Aylesford - you have Ayesford. I couldn't find it - so I looked under Knitty Pine. Bingo. I just had surgery on my ankle - 2 weeks down,6 to go of non weight bearing on that foot. The silver lining: 6 more weeks of guilt free knitting and crocheting. I have always wanted to try color work. I intend to make that little chevron hat and the others - will bust my yarn stash!! Thank you again!
