QUICK & EASY NO SEW TRASH JOURNAL TUTORIAL ~ RECYCLING PAPER 

Caroline: it just goes to show you what fun and creativeness can happen to create something so functional. The basic journal came together and already looks very intriguing. Extreme crazy fun. I enjoy no-fancy-tools/supplies creative projects much-much more than those involving expensive designer stuff. Ugly/cozy wins big time the pretty/cold in my eyes. The part that I’ve never tried (and just went ahead and did, yay) is removing shiny paper from the cardstock. I also discovered that if you insert a kitchen knife between the plyers on the edge, you can harvest pretty interesting ‘décor’ bits that way. I am going to go for a similar book of hinged junk paper as well. And then I will slowly decorate it (over several weeks or maybe even a couple of months) - each time I am waiting for a pot of water to boil in my kitchen. And then I can use that book to keep recipes ‘to ty’ or something else functional. Sounds like a plan, thanks for inspiration.

Another great project. I loved when you said you love the way the paper bag sounds ... junk journals do appeal to all the senses.

I’m back to watching the rest of this video. 😁 Don’t you love when you see something so simple, yet u never thought of doing?! Like Hinging pages for a junky journal!! Of course!! 🤪💗 Also….Have u tried “art glitter” brand glue? It’s my go to glue bc it’s really strong! I use it in a needle tip bottle so it lasts awhile too. It holds pretty much everything.

The fact that we sometimes may not have all the art supplies we wanted (because we forgot them 😉 or because we simply can’t afford them) is a huge trigger to our creativity! And that’s what happened: you’re making an amazing journal (I’m sure of it) out of things that other people wouldn’t probably use. I look forward to seeing the embellishments 💙💜💚🧡🩵🤍💛🩷♥️🤎
