Hey, Family! In today’s video, I will be doing this quick, easy, and really cute ponytail style on Journey’s very thick type 4 hair. I came across this video yesterday while searching for a simple style for my 2 year old toddler, and I did it last night. It’s so cute and she absolutely loves it! 😍 She kept admiring herself in the mirror and saying “mom, I look beautiful” 🥰. Thank you for this video. No, I usually let her sleep in them as long as they're not bothering her. She sleeps with a satin bonnet on at night, so I usually just do a quick brush up in the morning and go. =)

My 19 month old daughter hss real dry 4c hair which product you recommend I use to for twist to last a week and which moisturizer is best for her?

I typically have to layer products to fight dryness. So, I would use a moisturizer (Aunt Jackie's Knot Havin' It), an oil, and a styler (a heavy pomade such as Blue Magic or a styling product like Taliah Waajid Style & Shine). =)

I use the eco style gel on my daughters hair. It leaves white residue . Any suggestions ?

The ECO gel probably isn't mixing well with another product you're using. You could try Curl Peace Edge Control, Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Edge control, or Taliah Waajid Style & Shine instead. =)

I used Baby, Don't Be Bald for my other daughter and saw results pretty quickly. That along with routine hair maintenance (keeping her hair moisturized).

There's no specific products I use. I just do my best to make sure her hair is moisturized. I deep condition weekly and use the L.O.C. method (leave-in conditioner, oil, cream) for moisture in between wash days. =)

You can use rubber bands to secure the barrettes. But honestly, she'll probably still figure out how to pull them off...
