And this also doesn’t take into account that you can get Pascal once a day when you dive for a scallop. You either get a pearl or a diy from the mermaid serie and I feel like the items from the mermaid serie are hot items very frequently, so they make good money when selling them on these days 🤗
I’ve found that with diving if there’s a fast moving creature don’t swim fast next to it, do the slow swim and it’s less likely to sprint. It’s like hold the net and slowly approaching. I’ve just figured this out 😅
Also if it’s by the net start from facing the net but far enough back so it doesn’t see u and then swim to it. The creature is going to have nowhere to go and tends to swim towards you. (In the old games they would swim past the net but in this one the net is it’s barrier)
Diving is easily my go-to task for bell farming. Not only is it therapeutic and you get a massive pay per full inventory (around 20-50K each), but you don't have to worry about equipment constantly breaking.
I can’t handle diving. The slowness makes me feel physically trapped and I panic myself sick 😬 Almost broke my Lite because I couldn’t hold onto it last time I tried it and fell apart
Finally, someone knows that diving gets us more bells than fishing and catching bugs. One other option people can take if they have lots of nook miles is to buy nook miles tickets, go to bamboo islands, clear it and force spawn tarantulas and scorpions. But make sure to time travel to a time where there aren't any annoying bugs. Tiger beetles are better flies
@@JustBriannaYT You have to clear the island buy cutting all the trees, plucking flowers to prevent other bugs from spawning. Best situation is when raining cause there are only wharf roaches. Feel free to dig up stumps and the flower stalks. Not really necessary but you can also pick the weeds. After all this, just throw it on some beach on the bamboo island. I chop the coconut trees but I'm not sure if its necessary. After that, just wait but check for other bugs and chase them away to spawn tarantulas or scorpions. The spawn rate might have decreased but it still works
@@luv_cloud so everyday in the game there will be like a small golden glowing thing in the ground somewhere on your island. dig that up and 1000 bells will come out of it, but instead of taking the bells just hurry them in that hole (the hole will be golden and glowing) and then it will plant a tree and once the tree grows it will give you 3,000 bells each time. and remember each new day there will be a new glowing spot in the ground so make sure to do this process every time. you will eventually have a lot of money trees !
@@luv_cloud instead of planting back the 1k, plant 10k, in a few days you will get 30k bells instead of 3k, way more worth it. Just don't plant any more than 10k because 30k is the highest you can get
Im surprised I never see anyone talk about golden roses. I have 500, each sells for 2000 if you craft a crown out of them. You can harvest every 2 days. 1 Million bells every 2 days with barely any work once you have them, not even watering.
Diving is honestly one of the best ways to farm bells, you can get 40,000 to 50,000 bells *on average,* and that’s only if you bring your tools with you! Also with the DLC you can convert up to 15,000 poki into bells, it’s actually lit!
Another great way to make bells is to make a tarantula island! They sell for 8k each, if you get a full inventory you should make about 230,000 bells 🙂
The only island you can turn into a tarantula island is the bamboo island. All the other island were patched. Even if you remove anything there will spawn bugs in the water. As long as other bugs spawn, the tarantula will not spawn.
a good way is to do the bug off or fish oh and if u sell using the drop off box u get around 25% less then u will get by selling it to the twins timmy and tommy
@@sefidwhite4391 Rn its probably harder to get into them because the update but if ur using twitch ones find a streamer with islands that you can access thru the chat with commands. Those ones are usually less full in general. Team Tiger Tea iirc is their name has a lot of them. Also extra note on treasure islands there is often a max bells thing. Its breaks a nmt achievement for the stalk market but it will give you max bells in game which is like 999 billion, but like I said it breaks an achievement thing forget what they're actually called.
@@sefidwhite4391 there is also WalteeWartooth on twitch the codes are on screen but theres a ton of islands and honestly it wasnt THAT bad so dont worry- But make sure to have a good connection and dont leave through the minus button :)
As someone who works a 3rd shift and has issues going to stores when they are open even with Night Owl in place, diving has been my clutch for steady income along with fossils. I run into the issues where fishing either yields me low bell fish, or I get a huge catch that needs to be sold during the day otherwise I lose thousands to the box. My biggest tip would be to maximize the way you play and sell if you have an odd schedule like I do. I always sell my high bell items during the time I can hop on during the day, and maybe do a few store things. But then at night I can collect fruit, dive, fossil hunt and do my bell tree returns, this way even if I miss selling/buying stuff at the stores I can still do all my other income raising activities during my down time at night.
What I did after late diving & tarantula catching, I'd just place them as items next to Nook's Cranny or on a free empty spot on my island, then wait for the next day It even counts as pleasant decoration and adds up to your islands star rating
I had the same problem with game time, so I changed time zone on my switch for a city with -3 hours difference. Works great, now I have all the day time I need even at night, and it’s easy to switch time zone back, if I’ll need to.
Just disable "synchronize clock" and set the time to whatever you want. I regularly don't play until the afternoon but always start my game time in the AM to make sure I get both message bottles.
I have a pumpkin patch that in total can bring me 810 pumpkins (if grown correctly) and that means about 283 500 bells every 3 days. So if you were to time travel and collect about 5 full grown batches in one day, you’d get 1, 417, 500 bells
One reason diving for creatures is better than bug catching and fishing, that you didn’t mention, is that it doesn’t require a tool that is liable to break on you (you can dive for as long as you like without having to replace anything in between)
Back when I first started playing (April 2020) I used fossils to get bells, and it was working quite well! And eventually I even obtained every fossil in the museum!
Nook Miles tickets sell for 10k bells for 2k miles. If you have an excess of miles, purchase those bad boys instead to save time versus the bell vouchers that only translate to 3k bells per 500 miles. Yes, you get more bells when you purchase 2000 miles worth of the voucher, but then you need to go through the process of buying 4 vouchers. In that time, you could have printed 4 miles tickets and gotten 40k bells. 🙂 Also, gold nuggets sell for 10k each, if you only have the king tut recipe that requires 5 nuggets don’t hesitate to just sell the nugget in a pinch
PLEASE I have had ACNH for about 2 ish years and like just started playing again after only a weeks worth of playing... and i needed this thank you omg ;')
Damn I wish I thought of that early game. My town is covered in paths now that there's hardly ground to plant lol. How long did it take him to make 40 million bells by the way?
@@JohnnyRamirez86 probably not long. I get about 136 500 bells from about 130 plants. All sell for 350 a piece, and that gets tripled if you water them every day. It probably took a few weeks, but if you're consistent you really get payed well for it. Ordinances can also play a role, even if they aren't currently active. Bell Boom (as far as I know) raises all buy and sell prices by 1.2%. that may seem small, but it racks up very fast, especially since bigger priced items will have a bigger markup.
@@xideonpi Yeah right now I'm trying to grow alot of pumpkins. What I'm trying to do it save all those pumpkins and craft them into spooky carriages. Which sell for like 35,700 bells each. That should be a nice payout once I sell them all with the bell boom ordinance lol 👍
@@JohnnyRamirez86 my idea for now is selling the raw crops and fruit. I don't have the spooky carriage recipe but I do have no life so I have about 90 plants of various crops, which if I water them every day gives me 136500 bells and pair that with the fruit I get every four days, all sell for 500 each and I have about thirty something of them so I get just about 200 000 bells just by selling crops every few days, provided I water them. I'm also planning on expanding my garden and making an entire section of my island just fruit and crops
ALSO! I made like 8 billion bells by having a high turnip price on my island. But I hadn't bought any turnips, I opened my island to visitors for stalk market trading on a website which allows you to restrict the flow of visitors, and loads of people tipped me in bells and NMTs, I've not had to work for bells since the beginning of the game (though I did take a break for a couple months). If you do try this trick I recommend fencing off the pathway to your store so people can only go there and not wreak havoc on your island, it's worth the time to ensure some peace of mind
Getting bells by swimming is nice is it kinda annoying (IMO yes, yes it is) BUT catch what you've already put into the museum and you'll easily get 40k for the fish you catch
If you get far enough in the dlc you can get a abnd or however you spell it and exchange poki to bells and poki is easier to get at least for me and yes there’s bells to poki too and you can only exchange 15k a day.
If you have golden roses and are able to craft the gold rose wreath, you should definitely sell them that way! 10 golden roses sell for 10k while 10 golden roses crafted into a wreath sell for 20k! :)
The longest and hardest way to get bells : -learn and pay attention at school, -do revisions , -pass the test, -go to Harvard university, -find a job, collect a lot of money , -buy bells with money at online shopping , -didn’t even regret your whole life-
My tip is to plant 30k bells in your little money tree spot thing everyday, because u have a chance to get 90k after the tree is fully grown! But theres also a chance u get 30k so really youre not losing any bells!
If you’re farming, it’s better to plant 10k instead of 30k because you’re always guaranteed to get 3x10 bells. It’s true that planting 30k means you’re not losing bells, but you are losing the chance of profit in the long run.
For the update, just turn on bell boom ordinance and plant tons of fruit trees that wernt originally from your island snd sell them because you will get a lot of money, and then when you want to buy stuff just turn it off
@@esii003 turning it off doesn’t cost anything I don’t think, but honestly it’s worth it and items aren’t even that much more expensive if you don’t want to turn it off
FR… 100,000 bells for a chair that can be bought for 1,200 bells is so crazy! anyways i’m thinking about buying froggy chair from nookazon some time later
Omg finally someone is mentioning diving! I get around 60,000 bells per trip. It's so easy and fun to do, I really hope some more people find that diving is very efficient
You forgot an important way to earn money. 10 leaves from Gold and blue roses sell for 20.000 bells every 2 days by making the golden rose wreath/blue rose wreath.
Diving for sea creatures is definitely the fastest and most effective way to make bells fast. One night I went diving 3 time and filled my inventory each time and made around 240k bells! (Took me about an hour)
Gunna add a few tips here. Blue roses are easily top tier, unlike the crops you don't need to water them, the pick animation is faster than shaking and picking up fruits, but most importantly, there's also the blue rose crow and blue rose wreath. Those DIYs literally double the value of your blue roses, making each rose worth 1k per day. It's true that farming non-native fruit is an easy early game money farm, but your fruit is non native to other islands. So you can also farm your own fruit and just fill your inventory for when you visit an island where your fruit is non-native. When converting nook miles to bells, the best rate is to use bell vouchers, however you can also use NMTs they give you a ratio of 5 bells per nook mile, whereas the vouchers are 6 bells per nook mile, but they cost 4x as much, so they save you a lot of time waiting for the thing to print out and mashing through the text.
Wait!! Don’t sell all your fossils!!! They are the best villager gifts bc they are high value and they also will never put them in their house- so you don’t have to worry about giving them a fish or whatever and it never leaving their home🥲
If you finish enough houses in the DLC you get permission to decorate your villager's homes for a tiny bell fee. So never worry again about trying to get them to toss out that ugly table or decoration!
Another good thing if you don't mind using the materials is the iron Wall lamp, high enough value to get a return gift and they don't put it in their house ☺️
diving is genuinely fun for me i really like that its pretty absent minded unlike fishing and you dont have to waste items just make sure you inv is clear lol
My current best way of making bells is to use the DLC to convert Poki (a currency for only the dlc island) to Bells using the Poki-style ABD you get for doing business with many clients. Using time travelling makes it much faster, and you'll be rolling in bells in no time.
Find many individuals on nookazon who sell DIY items, buy a massive share of their company , loan them any bells or material that they need, then get a share of all the profit they make. The only thing you will regret is not buying shares!
Diving is so much better for bell farming no equipment breaking on you and many of the common sea creatures you come across still sell for almost double than the most common fish and bugs
I’ve been swimming around and finding so much cool animals that are worth a fortune if you wanting bells buy a wet suit and dive for sea animals! It really is a easy fast fun way to get money
I made all my money when the first or second item duplication glitch was discovered, I duped LED TV's and Shark Models and I haven't had to farm for bells in over 250+ hours of gametime, I know it's kind of cheating, but I was never one to enjoy farming for anything, the designing aspect of the game is my favorite and I wanted to be okay on bells to enjoy the rest of the game. Although making money once I'm finished designing will be a fun pastime haha
Def agree diving is more fun. With the new ordinances, an hour's worth of diving can net some mad profits. I can usually get 2 1/2 inventories of rare creatures in that time.
One of my go-to habits in the game is to keep fish and bugs in my inventory until CJ or Flick visit, then sell in bulk. A few days ago I made a cool 1 mil from CJ as I had a bit of a backlog!
Another wonderful video! Thank for for the tips to feed my Sakura addiction uh- i mean get bells haha 😰 forgetting ENTIRELY about that would you be interested in doing like a villager hunting stream? (If you don’t already have your dreamies if so lucky) I know they are super popular but I would love to have a longer video/stream to enjoy! Those six minutes can never be enough…
oh, no shame! it’s clear to me that my true, subconscious intentions to getting more bells is fueling my own maple collection obsession 😤 as for the streaming, i have a bunch of ideas for the channel in general, this idea included. but recently a lot of my previous plans which were to be enacted right now had to change so while i hope to be able to provide this, i can’t say for certain that it will happen in the very near future. i’m really sorry about that. (i do still have some projects such as the discord server which will be launching very, very soon though…)
As someone with 2mil+ poki, what I usually do is convert 15k into bells every day and I usually get about 30k~ ish bells. Of course, not everyone has the dlc but for those who do it’s a good way to get bells imo. And it’s fun to decorate houses :)
I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone talk about the item of the day. On top of the regular daily things, I became a bellionaire selling expensive crafts for twice their price when they are listed as IOTD. They usually involve using items like iron. I keep precious materials stocked waiting for such an IOTD and then make dozens of them. Takes patience waiting for a day with a good one listed, but so worth it in the long run. That, and playing the stalk market…..once…….i had about 700,000 bells once and in a manic panic decided to spend almost all of it on turnips. Lucked out big time on the last sell day and the price doubled. I never cried so hard
One of the things I like to do is save the fossils that I dig up on my island or other islands that I visit and put it in my house inventory until I have about a dozen of them or close enough to sell them in bulk and I can get a good amount of bells with that.
Also what helps a LOT is the bell boom ordinance it's nice to have so you can earn more bells but I guess some people can't afford it which is 100% fine but yeah!
Making money in this game is so much more OP than the previous ones, which I’m grateful for in order to build my island quickly, but the gameplay gets repetitive after you’ve hit the jackpot
If you are struggling catching fast sea creatures, slow swim toward the shadows. Swimming fast is the equivalent to running next to the water when trying to catch a fish.
Great video! I'll definitely dive and plant more pumpkins.😄 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to PROSPER YOU and NOT TO HARM YOU, plans to GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE." (Jeremiah 29:11) "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
I reccomend farming tomatoes and wheat, i make tomato curries and sell them all! Selling the tomato curry instead of all the ingredients seperately gives you an 840 bell profit! (I have a turbo controller so it automatically clicks A and Y for me, i just step away and let my turbo controller cook)
I never really knew the proper way to earn bells so one day i started trying different ways and once i emptied my inventory and dived and i earn 47k from one lap around my island and i was shocked! Ever since its the way i earn bells :) i usually make 100k a day now Ofc this wont determine how much bells you’ll make each catch, it depends on how good the creatures are worth but if you have 40 slots and catch 37-40 you’ll definitely earn 35k-72k per catch (ofc this is just from my perspective so far, if you take the effort to catch the better ones you’ll definitely earn more)
I have an extra idea with the new update make a planting, plant 24 plants of each vegetable, every three days you will have more than 150,000, you can make several crops in different time patterns and boom, vegetables every day and 150,000 every day
:O My face when I saw you sneak up on that lobster. I didn't know that they wont run if your not fast swimming! I've just been chasing them until they have to double back against a boundary smh
diving is better than fishing. here are reasons •it’s funner in general •catching bugs is harder •you can loose a fish easily, you cant loose a sea creature in the ocean. •you can tell which creature is going to sell more due to how fast and big it is unlike seeing a big shadow thinking it’s good but it’s a dumb sea bass •nets and fishing rods cost a lot of money •nets and fishing rods break easily •the only thing you need is a wet suit that you can use over and over forever •most sea creatures sell for way more money
