Another great video! I have been looking for a new black opening, and this seems to fit well with my playing style. P. S. I fell in love with the Ponziani because of your videos, and still play it and trap people in it to this day :)
My favourite defense against benko gambit is 5. Nc3 protecting pawn on b5... also I don't mind pushing an e pawn even if it means I loose the right to castle. It is true , however, that black has strategical advantage with queenside pressure and darksquared bishop who is controling the long diagonal
Totally. Nc3 is a solid option, same with pushing e pawn. Ya black does have a strategic advantage but I would still give the slight edge to white because of the pawn. I think the biggest thing with this opening is not just playing level but preparation
3:45 There are better options for White than 12. Re1 and 13. h3. It seems the plan now revolves around 12. a4 and either 13. Qe2 or Qc2 with the idea of Nb5, Ra3, b3, etc. White is scoring very well in this line.
Thanks Chess Giant, nice video. Can you do one of those speed runs (bullet) where you play the benko gambit as often as possible? Would be good to see the ways you deal with all the repsonses. Pretty sure you will get a lot of d4 opponents. As black I would like to see how you play the Pirc
@@TheChessGiant it would like to learn O kelly variation, Najdorf sir. But entire Sicilian saga will be good because it's the best aggressive option for black again 1.e4 right but I think it's hard to cover all of them. Easier said than done, so I expect some attacking lines / variations in Sicilian sir. Thank you
