Quick Lick #10 - Miami, My Amy
This is a lick that I stole from the song, "Miami, My Amy," by Keith Whitley. It's a great lick in the key of E (although I believe in the key of F on the original recording). But again, as with all of these licks that I put out, this one can be used up and down the neck in different keys. I try to post licks that don't use open strings just for this purpose alone.
For the Quick Lick series, I want to keep the licks very short. Try incorporating these licks into your playing. Even if you only take a small part of the lick and use, it's always good to increase your lick vocabulary.
