That's the way a car is supposed to sound. No popping of the exhaust and a nice clean chop with a deep rumbling exhaust. Fox body mustangs have always sounded the best. Very clean basic build that works and puts the power down
Man I’ve been going back and forth for months on whether I wanted to do a coyote swap or a 363 build, and this setup is really the setup I’ve been looking for and it seems like you did it right … your car makes me real excited to do my 363 build and give me the hope for a sweet outcome .. Thanks for sharing !!
Beautiful ride and setup. I'm curious about the injector setup you used. Did you use EV1 or EV6 (USCAR) injectors? Additionally, what size injectors did you install? I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
Thanks. This car has EV1 Bosch 210's with a 10mm hat to make them the same size as stock injectors. www.cartermotorsportsllc.com/flow-matched-bosch-2102200-tall-ev1-injectors-8
Hey man, that Foxbody looks sick! I'm planning on doing something similar with mine. What fuel system are you using to support the 363 and the YSI? Also, what fuel pump are you running? Thanks!
24lbs ! You need to pipe in a front mount air to air . Even on e85…. You will pick up 50-75 on same boost and car will tolerate more timing , enabling you to get to MBT. I am a moderately experienced tuner that’s Holley efi certified . not a keyboard warrior . No hate !! Let’s see it rip !!!
Also supercharged cars hate burned exhaust still in cylinder , I like the full exhaust but I might possibly go 3 1/2 over 800 wheel . Like to hear another opinion on this. Also what are cam specs?
An IC would definitely help but frankly, I'm at the limit of power that I'd like to make with this car and I don't want the complexity in the engine bay with one. I'll just need to live without the extra power.
A beaut of a beast you have there. 💪💪💪 I also have a '92 GT, metallic tuxedo black. My interior is a little different, all black from factory, nothing 2 toned. I replaced the front seat with a set of '07 Shelby GT500 black leather seats. I fabbed a front mounting bracket and lined everything up with the stock bolt holes.im running 18" Centerline "cruising concepts" line, all polished billets. 331 stroked, wish I had that long block setup similar to you, but that's why we're forever upgrading on our builds... anyway much respect for this black beast, looks and sounds great ##FordTuff ##StangBangOnEm #FoxbodyNation
Nice GT. Slick paint. Grew up with them too. Have had 3. Rolling in a jewel green 92 lx "saleen clone". 80k mile car. Love my fox. Thanks for the content.
❤😂😢😮😅😊😊😊😊😊 that’s nice 92 GT I had one like that but LX it was nice and fast and that blew a Corvette away and a Ferrari at 1:30 2 o’clock in the morning and the Ferrari couldn’t keep up with me and I smoked Corvette
super, super clean build. What fuel setup are you running? (folks: key to a smooth idle) 363 sure makes up for not having a PD blower. Have nearly the same setup in my '94 but using a 331 vs 363 & pushing 16# instead on the Ti: found Ti's scream above 14# and they run fine w/o an intercooler (loss of HP not much at all) Wet sanded Tuxedo black is definitely the way, though I went with BMW Carbon Black for a lil more blue hue
VERY curious as to injector size, axle size and brand, clutch set up and engine management system? Also, a car of that power with no interior gauges? And you may be on borrowed time with that Trans...But NICE ride!!!
Hopefully its just the belt tensioner walking your belt off, but I've seen a few of the Ford 363's with premature worn thrust bearings from riding the clutch or extended street use in traffic. I can't say if it was the build or bearing more than the habits of the driver, but the Ford and Clevitte bearings I pulled out were worn to the point of over 0.100 of end play. Since the blower belt looks good though....maybe just a tensioner.
I would get a set of Trickflow valve covers or take and weld some AN nipples on yours and put a motion raceworks breather on the setup. I have similar setup and with that much boost that poor breather might start letting oil get on the motor. The setup they sell is top notch and No more problems with boost for me. Also, intake temps are a huge problem for me in my area so Meth injection works on WOT but put an intercooler on that car and watch it change into another animal 24/7 unless he weather doesn't get that hot in your area but here at 105 my car would pull so much timing because the votech was just throwing hot air right into my systemax intake lol love the car. My new build I went gen3 coyote with a 10r80 and soon all go gen5 whipple and it transforms the foxbody into another car. Idles perfect no more surging or problems its just like a new mustang but a foxbody and with the 10r80 its rips with just bolt ons and lund tune.
The memories listening to this car. I had a V2-S trim with a ice system!!! I was hell on the streets. When they got tired of blowing up their DSS crate motor’s, they stole my car and chopped it 🆙 nice ride.
Damn thats nice, i built a 88 LX black hatch very similar but 331, i thought mine sounded good till i heard this one 😮 im looking down my nose at you now feller
Omg I’m in love I will be getting me a fox body next I can’t help myself I’ve loved these cars as a kid growing up in the 80s watching my dad race against them on street we always had Camaro or nova I got a 3rd gen now I gotta get me one beautiful car bro
Thing is awesome bro but your front rotor is on the wrong side the slots need to fan out the one on the back is right but the front rotors are swapped out
I appreciate you looking out for me and the compliments on the car. The rotors are on correctly according to Baer. baer.com/site_images/Rotor%20Rotation.pdf
@@Pang-Wangling that is odd I been working on cars for 37 years and it goes the other way but then it brings me to another question are the rear baer and why are they goin the correct way in reference to the front. I will open that link when I fix the update I just got and messing with my browser lol. OK I was able to fix my browser I see that must be a new thing cause I look further into it and now it not just the slot lean to back of car it depends on how the cooling fins are in the rotor if there flat or leaned a direction and that is what matter now. Well we all don't know everything I was just tryin to help 👍🏾
Very nice car brother, I love the Tuxedo black. Very clean. There's a video that Holdener did and he discusses the Z heads. They flow about 275cfm up top if I remember correctly. Not terrible just a little less the AFR and 11r heads.
I'm not sure I've seen it, or I just don't remember. I've seen a bit of information on the original Z head but less about the Z2 head which I have. There is the basic Ford published information which agrees with those flow numbers. I just don't see much of anything out there where anyone has really pushed them, or ported them.
I'm a F-Body guy through and through but there's nothing that compares to a good clean Fox Body. She's sexy and I was definitely not expecting you to casually say it's pushing 24 pounds of boost and making the kind of numbers it is. I hope you never sell it and get to enjoy it for the rest of your life.
