@@canvandal4503 Thanks so much for the frame and gear brother! You’re welcome and appreciate you as well! The community wouldn’t be the same without you on board and not near as much fun!
I'm shooting the .6mm clay bands with 3/8 steel also . My clay ammo shoots to the right for me everytime but if I use steel 3/8 it's right down the middle . I'm a new shooter and don't know much about slingshots so I was hoping you can tell me why that is . I hold the slingshot in my left hand and pull the bands with my right if that helps .
Thanks for the comment mikebritt! As you see in the video I shoot cheek anchor. Usually when my shot starts veering of target it's due to something basic. I start looking to see if my release is getting sloppy or if I'm letting the frame tilt a little. Example: I'm left hand hold as well and some times I let my pouch move slightly away from my anchor point just a tad and that will take the shot to the left for me. I like shooting clay sometimes also and I do know some brands are more uniform than others but if it's consistently to the right of where your aiming and your release is the same it may require a little adjustment of some sort. It is lighter and I'd imagine that could change the shot a tad. If your talking a fairly drastic difference you might want to pay attention to whether you're holding it just ever so slightly different than you do steel. A small amount either way at the pouch end turns in to quit a bit down range. Hope that helps. I'm far from a pro at it myself. Chris Graffin ( Catapult Carnage) has some of the the best how to aim videos I've seen and Gamekeeper John has some good ones. Much better than mine. Thanks again.
