Always watch your vids on TV. I tend to watch vids no longer than 10-12 minutes so I seldom use the chapter function. Thanks for all you do David! I picked up my first fishing kayak this past spring and your channel has been invaluable to me for finding good places to launch. As you say, tight lines!
I view RU-vid on my laptop mostly. Sometimes on the TV but that is rare. I love chapter markers and think it's great you use them. Time depends on content but 30 minutes generally maxes out my attention. Keep up the great content! I hope to get my line wet tomorrow.
@@KZNSean I personally think more people should use the chapter markers also. Not sure what it’s like in your area today, but we have winds steady at 15 mph and the bay looks angry. Hope you catch some. Thanks for commenting!
I watch most of RU-vid on TV. I'm watching this video on my phone because of your questions. Your videos are of local areas to show my kids the different places but also I use your videos and some others to teach the kids to pay attention how you use the rod and reel to manipulate the different lures that you use. I use the chapter markers to replay some things to point out details that my kids miss. As for time, i will watch videos of all lengths. My kids 10 to 15 minutes if its exciting to them.
im fishing the middle bay. been tossing a lot of moving artificial baits. had a handful of 15-20inch catfish SMOKE a perch hounder. almost time for the weather to turn, and i cannot wait!
@@PizzaShrimp Yeah the hot spell we had is gone for at least a little while. But today we have winds steady at 15 mph and the bay is angry looking. Glad I’m going to an O’s game today because being here with the winds would be frustrating. Thanks for commenting!
I watch on my phone , love the chapter markers and honestly 10 - 15 minutes is best unless there is a great deal of teaching techniques, baits , and / or other valuable information that takes longer to present
Im about 50-50 i cast to my tv from my phone. I dont use chapter markers for vids under 15 mins typically. The other fishing account i follow is kayak catfish. Hes been doing 3-4 hr uncut fishing videos recently, and they seem to do really well. The highlight reel fishing videos are a dime a dozen and for the most part are all the same. Its the color commentary that sets vids apart. The uncut maximizes that angle. Im not sure there is a best length.
70/30 laptop/phone.. extra credit for markers! After about 6 mins I’m usually done with fishing vids… btw what kind of yak do u have and do you feel confident on it on the pax?
@@rcasan4 the kayak I use is an Ocean Kayak brand “Caper” angler. It’s about 11 ft long weighs about 50 pounds and have always felt safe on the river. Thanks for commenting!
