This tutorial will teach you how to quickly make a paper cutout effect in illustrator. No fluff, just straight to the point. The design is simple, quick and easy to replicate. If you are using one color, simply place the darkest color at the center of your image. Then let the drop shadow effect do the rest.

Colors are from the outside in #f0fffb, #96d4e2, #239bb7, #00849e and the center is #003e53.
To make this 3D layer effect even cooler, use a premade vector (a face, tree, mountain) as the outside shape. Then roughly draw the interior shapes one by one just be careful of the orders. The trickiest problem is getting the order of the layers correct
