After a few dreadful results on various slots, decided to have a quick look at the roulette choices in William Hill. Obviously they've all got the annoying gamble bar now due to the £2 limit, but thought I'd go for a quick spin anyway.
Ended up choosing Dragonfire roulette. This at least has something a bit different going on, which is that it boosts some of the numbers before each spin. The trade off though is that normal winning numbers pay 30x rather than 35/1 (36x) on normal roulette. ** THIS IS A BIG DIFFERENCE! **
The appeal of it is that you can have a smallish bet on a number, see the number get boosted and hit a big win off it. It seems that the maximum multiplier a number can go to is 250x, but obviously just £2 on it would be enough for the £500 here. Guess the chance of that is incredibly rare though!
I started out on it thinking I'll play it till I land a Dragonfire number, but given this roulette quickly gets a bit boring, did I manage to do so?
