Hi … I know this is a long shot as your video was 4 years ago … but I need a bit of advice. Just got my CRE 50 and we haven’t finished our build yet … all fitted out inside, just no batteries or solar as yet. We are running off mains electric for other things for now. I wanted to use my fridge straight away, but struggling to get the right adapter. Any advise? Thanks in advance
Hi there, hoping you can help. I'm trying to change the door to the other side on mine but I'm have a problem getting the 2 little caps out of the other side, where you would screw the lock on to. I see on your video you also have the caps in yours. Do you have any ideas how to get them out? Thank you.
HIya - haven't had a chance to load them onto the site yet but have them available. drop me an email if you want one and I can confirm the price for you steve@offgridcamper.co.uk
@@off-gridcamper8737 hey! i meant generally looked around for review of CRE50 but only found CRX50 on the internet :) CRE50 seems like a good alternative, same components just cheaper because of less expensive materials used on the door
i have tried asking dometic this and they cant provide an answer - jacksons leisure claim the cre uses 60% more power - which dometic denied but couldnt back up their rebuke - on the info page the crx has a less amp rating by .5 of an amp or so depending on the model so on paper it seems the cre uses about 10% more power but if the compresor of the crx somehow pumps more heat per watt then it could be more than 10% - i would love to be able to buy both and do a review video for everyone it seems to be the question everyone wants to know - as its critical to know the power consumption if you are designing your energy set up - but its safe to say the crx is definitly more efficient as it can get lower temperatures in the freezer with less amps (on paper)
