6:19 absolutely true. I bought this from the local store. After bringing it back I too noticed that it was completely dry. So I greased it immediately. 😂
I know I'm late but... As for dunking the wrench in oil, I would advise against it since too much oil can gunk up over time and become abrasive instead of lubricating it. And you'd end up having to open it up and clean it anyway. Open the entire mechanism and brush lubricant over the components. It's time consuming to do it at first, but a better option for preserving your tools' longevity. Only just found your channel while shopping for some tools. Great content!
Excellent & informative review . I have checked this set at a tool shop once . I felt it's not well thought out . Although 3/8 would have been ideal for 2-wheeler mechanic , the sizes given in this set does not cover 2-wheeler work . For example , most 2-wheelers require a 16mm spark-plug socket , not 21mm . Also 18mm , 24mm & a 30mm socket often needed for motorcycle repairs is missing . I feel the 6mm & 7 mm sockets are superfluous since sockets are seldom necessary for such small size bolts . Also a few hex & torx head sockets could be useful because many current motorcycles come with such fasteners .
+Pinaki Paul Thanks Pinaki, Nice input, Indeed missing 16mm Sparkplug and Hex/Torx is a huge problem with this kit. Even I feel this is more inclined towards 4 wheeler territory. Still I think this is better than the Stanley counterpart primarily considering price and quality. With 3/8th we really don't have that much choice except maybe 2-3 options. Look out for the "Stanley 89516". I expect that to be a wonderful kit for motorcycles. I am going to review one soon.
Bro now flipkart price for 1/4 inch socket set stanley - 1700 1/4 taparia -1529 rs Which one will bet better for me. Scooter & bike maintenance diy etc , Is this price is good Or i get even low price in offline?🙄
Any idea about this brand Pro Tul PRO TUL Socket Set I have decided to go for 3/8 as my first set, this looked more like a well round set but not sure about the quality though, I too like Taparia tools alot
Vinoth Kumar Honestly, I've never used Pro Tul brand of tools so I cannot comment anything on the same. The rule of thumb with Tools should be {Good Quality/Reputed brand} + {Good Price Value}. If you follow this simple principle you will get a quality product that will stand the test of time without burning a hole in your pocket. Might I suggest you the [Stanley 89-516] 46 pcs Socket Set. In my 1 year or so experience, I've thoroughly enjoyed using it{Mind you its a SAE and Metric mix) Google it to know more. If you are confident with Pro Tul regarding it quality and getting it at a good price then go ahead else check out similar tool sets.
