I rarely found any person from nagaland speaking on this topic. I was always curious why inspite of having oil and gas reserve. nagaland state deficit is huge and it needs to get loans etc. Really the youth of the state should speak about it much,. Same in Madhya Pradesh was done by the people when a environmentalist sat on protest to not divert the river so that the other areas get the water it was the youth who protested against megha patkar and others and finally allowed the creation of dam etc. Madhya Pradesh was always a tribal area with naxalites etc. now it has transformed coz it allowed the coal and other resources out of the control of tribals coz they were hindering the progress of state and the country, Nagaland should allow the oil exploration and if any group stops youth should protest against them as they dont want employment to be generated. Environment is necessary but not the cost of poverty.
