Well, this guy kick my butt twice even though I consider myself a pretty experienced turn based game player. I think this dude is the hardest enemy in the game. So after the fight, I looked up online and found out that many people struggle with the fight. So I decided to make a quick guide on what kind of team will work well against this guy and also few tips you that will help you when you are fighting against him. Hopefully it will help some people out there that is struggling against our favorite boi of this patch. UPDATE: I Beat him in MoC 12 even though i only managed to 2 star it, same strategy still works with his MoC version. He hits a lot harder, so be careful. EDIT: Thank you everyone for commenting and sharing your strategy, i am sure it helps some players that are struggling against aventurine in some way
Got him down to 6 percent in Phase 2 then watched helplessly as he dispatched the entire party starting with the medic right after a series of bad dice rolls.
Ive been stuck on this quest since it came out im soo done 💀💀 Lowest I’ve gotten him to was like 76% in phase two before all my characters ended up getting x’d
Same I only got him down to 6% because I was using march to protect my two other characters. I don't remember the exact characters I used but I know two of the characters I used was argenti and March. I haven't been able to get him back down to 6% since that one run :'-)

Yeah i concur having ur sustain not getting imprisoned really helps. My gallagher wasnt built back then, and i really want to try all kinds of team against aventurine
I actually won every single dice role against Aventurine, even without AOEs really, and just stomped through the boss pre-nerf. Guess he really is luck-based.
Oh wow thats amazing. I always rolled 2 when i attack with single target while he has 7 to 9. Plus the imprisonment kept locking me from healing on my 1st to 2nd attempt. I am not sure what was nerfed as this guy still hits really hard and still spamming the dice each turn.
@@silverclik i still have no idea what the actual nerf was. I think i fought him after the nerf, he still hit like a truck and still spam his all or nothing. Very tough boss
@@kkacehstrive yep he is, and I don't think they nerfed anything at all. I managed to defeat him tho, I just used acheron, trailblazer, lynx, and Bailu.
Oh just want to add, you can also perform well with the kafka,blackswan,ruan mei, and huo huo team. Make sure to always have skill points at phase 2 follow my tips during phase 2
i used Bailu, Pela, Kafka, and Acheron because i realized that Kafka actually counts towards Acherons stacks and is another character that can damage Aventurine’s toughness bar

Alright, finally beat him. In the end, it was easier than I thought. Guess I had just a bad team comp before. I used Fire Trailblazer, Huohuo, Sparkle and Acheron. The first time i put this beautifull fire lance beast in the team, the fight became easy. It took a while, but I wittled him down. So i guess a good heal/debuff remover and a good preservation to soak up the damage was key here. Could have exchanged Acheron with Rock Chick and Sparkle with another support I guess.
I was able to beat ten Stonehearts aventurine took me 10 x in different team. The team that I used and did help me to win was my Kafka, blade, Gepard, and Natasha. Also why i pick blade is bc he hit the dice with more higher number than aventurine. Took me while to win.
5th attempt with E2 Lynx, Bailu, Gepard, and E4 Pela (who absolutely carried with def reduction and the highest ice dmg in her attack) was longest, yet only successful run. This was a pure battle of attrition, just tanking though the dice falling on the characters and the follow-up poker chip attack. 😭 Context: EQ 4 and Lvl 60 characters with Lvl 60 light cones.
I did this last night and my second try worked fine. I used a f2p team with Natasha, march, normal mc (with the bat) and serval. Use march to put shields on everyone and tank his aoe attacks and save her ult for rolling all the dice and you'll win 99% of the time. Also if you level a certain skill in march's tree when she puts a shield on someone it will remove debuffs so it will help a lot especially on nat since she can't win the dice most of the time*
@@sambabich8200 yes, this team does work, and it involving patience and defensive playstyle, which unfortunately most players are not willing to do and just decided to give up on the game. Honestly i kinda like this story battle since it really reminds me of the classic turn based rpg game at which you cant just brute force through a fight, a correct strategy centered around your available resources is needed. Anyway congrats on beating the hardest boss in the game so far!
I use my good old hypercarry team which includes Argenti,Bronya,Tingyun and Lynx. He kicked my butt twice. 30% is the lowest i could lower his HP in Phase 2 as his gamble just keep coming and destroying my supports. I switched to Relics that give HP% and Effect Res℅. Although crit got lower. I managed to get back with crit food buffs and hp food buffs.
Bro every time, my team was close to dying I literally left the battle and had to fix my set up like Three times and the team that ended up being the finalized team and won the battle were jingliu, huohuo, Acheron and Clara 😭
I got him to 20% on the second phase, but at that time with the gambling phase I messed up my technique and had no skill points/ bursts up, so my 1 healers died, then eventually my dps and shielder died lmao Edit: defeated him! I used Kafka, Bailu, preservation MC and Gallagher! My tactic was to always save the ults for the gambling stages, and I spammed Baliu’s burst non stop so gallagher could get an extra attack in without having to heal anybody. I also used Mc’s burst a lot of the time so that the affect on Bailu wouldn’t be so bad, since I wasn’t worrying about dice rolls when it was her turn to atk/ heal!
Fu Xuan is alright, but if you don't have her signature, you'll need to bring a healer, as Aventurine will DEVOUR her hp. Not to mention his energy reducing attack will prevent her from healing a lot.
I only have trailblazer, March 7th, Dan Heng, Natasha, Lynx, serval, dr ratio, shushang, asta, herta, sampo, quingque, and yukong (sorry for typos). Im not winning :( do you have any tips? Ive been doing Natasha, March, trailblazer, and serval and i keep dying :( everyones max lvl.
I just beat it over the course of 2 hours (yes, 2 full), losing two 1/7000s on 5 hits (causing panic), but somehow edging away at him with an underleveled xu fuan by burning him to death with a light cone burn and punching him with hooks teddybear. It was boring, but in a beautiful way. He was no match for my 24000k f2p jade spent pulling xu fuan.
I’m running, Gepard , Dr ratio , Robin and Hanya . I can phase one him but not phase 2 , I’m genuinely considering quitting this game . I’ve been stuck for 4 days now
Slowly but surely, on my second try, with Fire MC, Bailu, Serval and Kafka, I beat him. Fire MC was 50/50 on the dice rolls because I had to keep aggro and shielded, Bailu never beat the odds but with the shield and heal compensation she took it like a champ, Serval and Kafka won the dice rolls 90% of the time, maybe even 100% for kafka because of the follow up.
Yes, i think many people struggled because they thought they could out damage aventurine without focusing on sustain. If your dps lost the bet even once, they are most likely going to die soon. This fight requires us to be patient and use our skill point efficiently.
Finally beat this stupid boss. I used Fu Xuan, Trailblazer, Lynx and Silver Wolf (For Quantum damage). I picked the right team, because Fu Xuan can tank those brutal hits for everyone and keep them alive
I need help… ive tried some times but always fail. I have gepard and bailu, but dont know what more use… dan heng il, blade, trailblaze, yanqing… im so tired of trying… any food you recommend? Im reading you!
Are they properly build? Try using both gepard and bailu as sustain(it is going to be a long fight since u bringing 2 sustains), if u have any tanky harmony unit bring them, othetrwise go with pela, as DPS bring your strongest destruction character. In phase 2, when the bet starts, make sure bailu heals everyone to max health, gepard to top up shield, if using pela use her ultimate if u using harmony makes sure to buff, for ur dps if u have ult use them, if u can use skill use them so u win the bet. Skill point management is very important too.
I used Gepard with a good build and Energy Regen, Alongside a shit fire trailbrazer and Kafka + BS team. I ....Just won his fight, hopefully before he was nerfed.
Fu Xuan is super cool against him since she is a sustainer that can tank dmg from your support characters and also she has aoe ultimate so she can easily survive second phase, stack so many heals so can tank so much. Oh and dont forget Fu Xuan heals a little bit and gives crit rate so imo Fu Xuan, Pela, Acheron, Black Swan, as example for Acheron team, should work so good against him. Black Swan in this scenario will be better than silver wolf bcs she has aoe's. !
Can confirm, i made a team with destruction MC, Welt, Gepard, And galager. It was a marathon 2 hours to deal enough dmg to kill him off but it worked because no one fucking died but i was hitting with my wet noodle
Gepard + Bailu were my meat walls for shields and heals. Black Swan was just sacrificed to have arcana on Aventurine. For me Sampo was the MVP. He wins the rolls easily and if not, I discovered that his ULT can refresh the dice roll if you fail the roll with his skill on his turn. Just set his ULT between your action and Adventurine turn withou letting him to get his turn and you can refresh your roll with ease, specially as you get rewarded with a 100% energy refill that goes down to 90% with one of his attacks. So only use a skill and then your ULT is up if you need rerolling. Sampo with E4 can detonate wind Dots so with arcana even if Black Swan dies, Sampo can do anything between 8%-10% of Aventurine HP. Is rather lengthy but really safe, I beat on day 1 so yeah, Sampo was the hero for me
3 tries is crazy, Im trying to beat him on my second account which has decently built characters though its been like 8 tries and i still cant beat it lmao
Not sure if either of us are being arrogant here, but I, too, beat Aventurine in the first try and it was easy. I was honestly worried it would be difficult like that annoying Swarm bug in Ruan Mei's 'Cat Cake' story - which I still struggle with at times. I don't consider myself a gamer, and I had no idea what I'd be up against since I didn't want to spoil the story by looking up a guide. So I just went in there blindly, more or less, with Argenti, Luocha, Jing Yuan, and Pela and the fight took me about 6 or 7 minutes. I counted. Now I get on after finishing the story to see that people needed a guide to beat him. I'm not boasting here, even it it might sound that way. I'm just surprised. I guess I should stop insisting that I'm not a gamer. Of course, my world level isn't at max, maybe that has a lot to do with it? Also, this game does seem to punish those who don't have the 'right' characters for a fight.

I went in there blind too not thinking anything of it🫣 i looked up this video just to see what his weaknesses were to tell my fiance cos he was asking && i couldn't for the life of me remember 🤣
@@haylees.hewitt no, you're not arrogant for beating it first try. But you are facing the easier version of him if you didn't fight him before 27 March. The pre-nerf version used to be incredibly tanky and hits harder than a truck. I have casted Argenti's enhanced ult probably about 15+ times before he dies. And failing a single dice roll means 2000 DMG + imprison. Which is death sentence to almost all units that's not preservation. He is not a joke and requires a strategy to really beat him. Though I managed to beat him first try, it took quite a while to whittle his health down slowly. So be grateful you fought him post-nerf
One thing that is frustrating me is that i never really invested highly into my characters and only played casually, somehow got to ar68 but my highest dps can only deal about 30k. My other characters suck ass and building them is a pain. Now im stuck at phase two and even with gepard, luacha, natasha and one dps unit i keep having my dps die at phase two. I dont know anymore. I just wanted to lvl up firefly and focus my resources on her but now i have to spend it on other units bc i cant beat this boss 😭
So question, what if you just started playing and you don’t have all these characters people are easily beating the boss with. My only 5*’s are Bronya and Sparkle. Oh and I’m only Trailblaze level 35 Edit: Managed to beat him with a semi built Acheron (who I got at 10 pity), March 7th with a bunch of hp, Natasha with a bunch of hp, and fire trailblazer. Also used food to increase hp and attack. My heart was pounding through the entire thing
Usually lower trailblazer level means the enemies also hit less hard. If your main party members are relatively well build, you should be able to beat him. Bringing both bronya and sparkle might not be the best unless your main dps can kill the boss really fast, so bring other 4 stars that can clear the bet and tanky healers.
I have tried so many times with different teams I have done lost count 😒😭😭😭😭😭😭 I rage quit for a month and came back a couple days ago and I still can't beat him. I GIVE UP never playing again 😢
@@kimchirose hmm, this team can work, but you need to play very defensively as both jingyuan and acheron dont have characters that synergize well with them.

If u want to be safe u can bring another healer but it will be a longer fight, otherwise bring aoe nihility to maximize acheron damage. Silverwolf doesnt have aoe,so she will always lose the bet and dies fast. Just watch for ur skill point usage, during the dice mode use the aoe abilities of all characters even ultimate since u will get ur ultimate refilled after the bet anyway. For ur fuxuan, saves her ult for the dice and use her skill to make sure she can tank well. If u decided to bring another sustain makes sure to heal everyone during the dice mode since they are going to lose the bet anyway. Good luck, with good planning u will beat him
Non i am fighting him in MoC it is even more absurd. So tanky, this might be another one that is impossible for me to get 3 stars. It has been awhile since i couldnt complete the permanent challenge with 3 stars
Yeah, in twitter there are people say it is easy for them and some says it is so damn hard. Hence the reason why I made the video, to help those who had it rough. Also this dude is going to be a pain in butt once he is in one of the permanent challenge, hopefully the guide applies there as well. Huo huo made a huge difference in this battle honestly
who is your preservation character? i have fu xuan and trailblazer the rest of my party is same as yours, but i lost during second phase with aventurine 48% hp left ( lost in gamble😔)
I think you are defensive enough, but yanqing doesnt have a reliable way to win the bet. If you have a tanky buffer use them instead or pela if you have her built to assist clara with debuffing and also as extra damage and let clara do all of the work with her counter since aventurine is all about AoE. Make sure have enough skill point and heal before the bet ends. Make sure clara always wins the bet. Dont use gepard skill unless you have the extra skill point. Good luck buddy
It should be fine, 2 sustains will be fine, it is just going to be a long fight and make sure health is always at least 80% when the bet starts, otherwise heals
my only DD upgraded is rario and topaz, and i have no recourse to level up any other. It will take me at least half a month to beat him, because not only i need to farm the upgrade materials but also the set for any character that i decides to use, which aren't many options
I’m f2p I used my best built characters but my dice rolls were so bad and I got him down to 9% on second phase but I couldn’t do a lot of damage since he took out my dps first
Honestly I dont know anymore how to do this since my characters arent the best, I use Gepard Imbibitor Lunae Jingliu and Natasha and I still keep losing (Ive fought him like 10 times)
Trying take out imbibitor lunae and bring a support to boost jingliu dps. Imbibitor lunae takes too much skill points and you might not have enough for ur sustain to heal or charge their energy.
That seems might be a tough one silverwolf and sparkle have no way win the bet, and gallagher needs to constantly healing them while also hoping he doesnt get imprisoned if he fails the bet
Im having to build my erudition characters(Serval and Herta) just to fight this damned boss, my Jingliu who does the most dmg out of my characters to OTHER bosses is doing less dmg to this guy, wtf were they thinking when they were deciding how hard he should be
I guess his phase 2 all or nothing spam really hurts the player. It needs some rework once he appears on permanent challenge. I understand what they are trying to do with this boss, but wasnt executed well
alright so I’ve been stuck on aventurine and tried multiple teams, the furthest I got was at second phase 34% with gepard, herta, bailu and sparkle… should I replace bailu with galagar or replace sparkle for a different support??
I beat this guy first try with a ded SW, a Lvl70 Acheron with lvl60 4* LC, with 6k Hp Bailu and 10k Fu... It WAS A LONG FIGHT. I just spam ult my Bailu and Spam Skill Fu. So I can sum up that aventurin battle is just a battle of toughness
You can, but if your bailu is imprisoned by losing the bet you might be in trouble. Otherwise acheron will take care of him for you. Always have ur teammates at max health if possible. Makes sure to eat with your best items to get good buff.
U dont have enough sustain, these units can win the bet, but wont survive against his other attacks. Bring at least one sustain, natasha is decent if you dont have other 5 star abundance
guys sorry i need some advices, i can't defeat the boss. the team i'm using is jingliu, silver wolf, jing yuan and gepard but something tells me i should use an healer, unfortunately i don't have bailu or luocha, do you think that lynx would be good? and also, should i use like kafka, blade o someone like that?? i don't have dang heng IL😢😢
Switch silverwolf out, she wont survived unless your sustain is insanely good. If you want guarantee win but takes longer swap her with a healer, lynx is fine and with gepard the boss shouldnt be able to kill you. Otherwise swap Silferwolf with another character that can use AoE or a tanky support. Watch for ur skill point spending as well, make sure your dps have enough skill points during the bet, use ultimate during the bet if needed. Good luck

@@mtx227 good luck man, it is almost dawn here, just happened to woke up and checking my phone someone commented 😆 so i decided to reply. i just beat him in MoC few days ago with same strategy focusing on AoE and sustain. My team was aventurine, acheron, blackswan, and kafka. Just be careful you can get unlucky with the dice roll sometime even with hitting 3 dices, when that happens dont be afraid to ult as if you win the bet you get the ult back. Also, If you have ult ready during the bet, just use ult so u can save skill point.
@@aahaanagarwal743 honestly, it is easier to build other units rather than bashing our heads against aventurine with this team. The only way I can see, we can clear him with this team, is gepard must always shield before all or nothing, sparkle and bronya always fast forward ratio so he has chance to clear the bet, on ratio's turn use auto attack during the all or nothing mode to conserve skill points. 3 of your teammates will lose all or nothing and might get stunned, so ratio needs to deal as much damage as possible after all or nothing. And repeat. If your ratio cant deal enough damage by himself, your team most likely will lose if the fight drags out. You might want to use energy rope for gepard so he can gets ult faster. Bronya and sparkle might want to have more effect res and lots of hp or defense so they dont get stunned and losing too much HP fast. Thats all i can say. This team is just not optimal in clearing this challenge, it could be done if ur characters are fully build, but it wont be a smooth one unless you have 5* LCs and maybe even character eidolons.
This good for nothing sigonian trash made me quit the game for good. I have horrible luck both in gacha and relics, therefore I didn't get a single sustain after using all of my beginner pulls. I can't even clear pure fiction because I don't have enough characters built to get lynx, but I pushed through using my brain until I got to Aventurine, after around three hours of suffering through the worst RNG imaginable I understood that I will not get a 4* selector that could've saved my account because I didn't have a second sustain, this game managed to corner me completely. I haven't had such issues with any game before in my life, I can't even outsmart or outplay the damn thing like I always did when I got unlucky, this game makes me freaking miserable.
