Dianne how could I do fine bright feathers or hair of bird or animal without losing the hue( as dilution reduces the hue)

Sunjanith, a desaturated hue surrounding a more saturated one emphasizes the saturation. We use saturation where we need it, but if we use too much, we create confusion to the eye. So watch for where there is saturation, and interpret it in those areas while desaturating areas around it.
