Another way to do this is if you have a Haimer with a TTS shank on it - it will fit directly into the gang tool blocks, and then with your stock already in the chuck, indicate off of one side, zero, indicate off the other side, divide by 2, bam.
Yep only for x tho. I use it also for that but for some reason i never thought to put it in the gang block. I ususally put the haimer in a 3/4 collet on the spindle heh.
