In this quick video I show you how to use that Moog Theremini you never learned how to play as a fun CV controller for your analog synths or Eurorack that accept control voltage. In this case I plugged it up to my Moog Sub 25. This could be a fun way to enhance or express yourself more in a live performance, or, with the right synth you could use this Theremini CV as a unique way to write automation data in your DAW via MIDI.
While this video is for the Theremini, this should work on all of Moogs Theremins, like the Etherwave or the Claravox.

I own tjat same moog & a moog theremin, its like you said mostly untapped but I also have a 36" Pastie gong I run thru a mic & guitar pedals same principal... thank you for the video !!! It's hard to gather info on the many sounds that can be produced,.when most don't share the same equipment

@CompanyGrip the.biggest issue i have is determining what an output is & input, sounds simple, but if this question , you'll find it's the heart of most issues ..... the jargon of the know..... very few disclose the side panel, even the manuals are purposeful vague ... take this on & you reach millions wanting.to learn more. start with the side panel of the 25 ....

Hi there, Can I use this cv out entrance with my zoom A1X Four acoustic FX Pedal, to increase sound effects? Thanks in advance and great video!

Unfortunately, I’m not too familiar with the Zoom A1X pedal. If it has a CV in and you can use that to program and control parameters in the pedal then it should work. But, again, I’m not familiar with the pedal.

Can u used a theremini to control a mpc drum machine???

There’s probably a way to do it, but I don’t know how easy it would be. You’d have to convert CV into midi data, which is easy enough with the right modules, but then what the midi data sent to the MPC and how to utilize that info, that would be a whole separate issue!
