I’m not a professional or do I do this for a living. I’m just a Honda enthusiast that likes to work on, swap, modify, and maintain my rides. I enjoy making these video of me learning and hope it helps the next guy watching.
Shoutout to my buddy Justin at 79th Productions for hooking me up with parts and motivating me to make some videos.

AR Precision Mod Shop - thanks man. Means a lot. I do all my own work. I tend to break a lot of stuff so I have to figure out how to fix it all the hard way lol hope to keep the content engaging and enjoyable.

I do this for a living, and have done a lot of bushing presses. If you're doing it this way, scouring the inside of the trailing arm with a scotch Brite pad and then coating with 0w oil will really help you tap in your bushing this way.

Thank you, putting on shoes, heading to the garage digging up these new bushings out of the tool box, handling it and heading to firestone, much appreciated.

When you got a stubborn bushing , use the “beat the crap out of it “ method . Love it and when it don’t move. Get the bigger hammer

Thomas Kirby we know these methods well. Hit it with a hammer. If that doesn’t work. Get a bigger purse lol

Two old brake rotors, four C clamps, easy peasy with very little sweat. For whatever that is worth...

I’ll have to try that. Sounds kind a good method

You hammered it out the wrong direction. If you hammer from the inside it only takes about three hits

One thing i like to see is the loading of the arm( jacking like car is in ground) before tightening all the bolts. That way your bushingS last longer.

The hardest challenge is removing the Compensator Arm. Over 87% are seized, rusted /or that nut turns. So if yours (1:55) is like the above. You got to cut a hole, oil, torch, new washer/nut & weld a patch over hole.

3:57 it's upside down, the thick rubber goes on the bottom
@BenLinn
@BenLinn 2 года назад
also, it's tapered towards the outside, so if you hit from the inside it pops out really fast

That went in way too easy. When l changed mine on my EF, l had to beat on each one a good 30 minutes. 😆

You drove it out in the wrong direction, the hole is tapered.

@MooreProjects 3 года назад
charles jose I don’t believe so. I’m pretty sure it just fits the 88-2000 civics, 97-01 CRV and the 90-01 integras

I have heard freezing the bushings helps getting them in. I will try and update in the comments.

Anthony Gage what’s the question? I can do my best to guide you in the right direction
@anthonygage7201
@anthonygage7201 4 года назад
Moore Projects okay so I’m replacing my rear trailing arm and I need help to remove the Ebrake line with out cutting it
@MooreProjects
@MooreProjects 4 года назад
Anthony Gage underneath the car going beside the gas tank is where the cable is bolted to. There are about 4 10mm or 12mm bolts holding the cable. Then when you remove your center console inside the car, you’ll then have access to the cable. You have to undo it inside from that bracket next and then pull it out thru the grommet. Also depending on which side, you might have to drop your exhaust or remove part of the exhaust
@anthonygage7201
@anthonygage7201 4 года назад
Moore Projects alright thank you so much I’ve been up all night trying to figure out how to do that and I will have to remove part of my exhaust cus I’m on the passenger side thank you very much for the help
@MooreProjects
@MooreProjects 4 года назад
Anthony Gage you’re welcome man! Hope that gives you the idea on what to do next, yeah the passenger side is the side that the exhaust will probably have to be removed or unbolted and dropped down to access the bolts. Also spray WD-40 on the cable at the grommet where it enters the car and it will be a lot easier to pull the cable out. Same when going back in with it
