Thank you for this video Hector. I've been a CMA (now CPA - I'm in Canada) for 20 yrs working for corporations. I was recently asked to set up a family members books and teach them how to manage it themselves. We picked QB and now I'm needing to learn it. Great intro video to help me help them. @@hughjass8383 I guess what I should have said was accounting is not hard, but QBO has a huge learning curve to understanding. There is so much more to QBO than just "accounting". If it were just accounting or balancing a bank account, that would be totally different. It is not that!

Love your videos. You present the information in a quick, concise manner that does not bore. There is nothing worse than listening to a presenter that speaks as slow as a seven-year itch, stutters and stammers, uses a lot of um's, uh's, etc. and repeats the information numerous times; say it once then get out of the way. I can tell you have been doing this for a long time and I appreciate not only the information presented but how professionally it rolls off your tongue.

Hola Hector. I have been watching your various videos by subject but I really should have watched this one first! But it is ok as I relearned it. I love the way you teach and I am now pumped to input everything that my friend dropped off in piles for the last year!! A quick question. If someone dumped their papers off to you and only set up the most basic accounts what would you tackle first? (they have downloaded their credit card purchases and their statements ~ opened in Sept 2019) If you have a video on "What happens when you are handed a shoebox full of receipts, bills, statements, etc-fastest route to complete" video, please let me know.
