Cannot use with salt water…. Learned the hard way in Hurricane Ian. No protection at all. 😭😭😭

Lol love watching this, maybe 5 min before would have been a better time to put them out. Stacking them higher would probably be better than making it wider. Preparing for Hurricane Hillary now.

Yea they work good - 1 time. Try drying them out to re-use like the package says lol. Not gonna happen
@PinoyBBQ

Exactly. I tried to dry out They do but now you gotta store it and it takes up more space then you started with. In all practically It’s really a single use item.

Thanks doggy! Just bought one of these suckers for the hurricane . My back door has a doggy door on it and when it poured for about an hour on July 4th my house flooded . Hopefully this will be enough to keep my house dry

a tip: you can watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.

The training video said to get them wet and put them in place before the storm hits.

Yes please follow the instructions. My reasoning--But they aren’t reusable and are expensive and not every rain results in high water and when saw water rising then i used it.
@MistressPrime
@MistressPrime 11 месяцев назад
@@PinoyBBQ BTW, their own website says they are reusable: "Can I re-use them? Yes, you can re-use them. Once activated, Quick Dams will remain active until the water evaporates, typically taking several weeks for complete evaporation. If left in position, they will shrink while evaporating and grow when re-exposed to water." quickdams.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/QD_Outdoor_FAQ.pdf

Secondo me la colpa è quello che ha fatto il pavimento esterno e non ha dato la giusta cadenza per fare scorrere l'acqua verso l'esterno all' opposto della tua terrazza verso la piscina

Maybe they work better/faster before the water collects?
@PinoyBBQ
@PinoyBBQ 4 года назад
it works pretty fast...i would have put it out sooner but debating whether or not to use it. The problem is they are basically single use despite the advertisements. You can definitely use it maybe one more time and I did however you have to let it dry in the shade which mean you now have these black bags laying around making the place a mess. They finally did dry up and when I went to use them again they were not as effective the first time and forget about a third time use... Dont get me wrong they are wonderful and keep the water out...just dont expect to use them more then once and at nearly 20 a bag or more I want to amke sure i really need them

Can you reuse them?
@PinoyBBQ

Carlos A. Barrera you can but takes weeks to deflate/or dehydrate of water. I was able to reuse 1 more time 3rd time they didn’t absorb water. I really think they meant for single use despite label saying can be reused
