Plants: If I set this card it will counter this card and in case my opponent does this I will set this as well. Chaos Dragons: IF I keep banging my head I will eventually get through this wall. Love both these decks.
I'm glad this was so much closer than anticipated. I expected Chaos dragons to dominate. I'm not surprised at the outcome but I really love both decks so good to see them both shine. Chaos dragons got me into competitive YGO and Dandy warrior was just a fun deck i liked the style of back then. Good stuff as always a W for content.
I was a HUGE fan of both of these decks! I especially LOVE chaos dragons because it got me a nationals invite in the Chicago nationals, i believe in 2014 or maybe it was 2013🤔... both very fun decks, and so good for their time
Finally getting caught up with these ones. Awww… Dandywarrior just kept running out of gas (and lifepoints) in those last few games. It almost looked like they were going to 3-0 Chaos Dragons, which would have been a big surprise if they did. Unfortunately their slower pace caught up with them. On to the next one. Going with Danger! Tear 3-2 in the next one. This one could actually be very competitive, simply because Rhongo is bullshit, but I still think Tears are just too powerful to lose this one.
D Q warrior made me dream that maybe infernity will make it and win ....rip but can we speak that DQD managed to BEAT the dragon deck WITH Future fusion resolving ? do you know how near impossible that thing to happen ?
Chaos dragons could have won game 2 synchro for Ancient Sacred Wyvern instead of Arcanite, attack over Iron chain and sangan for game Doesn't change the outcome of the match though Love your videos Lithium
Genuine question as I'm not that well-versed in yugioh rules. 6:05 After the monster reborn for REDMD, why couldn't book of moon be activated before REDMD activates its effect? To my understanding, after a chain resolves, the turn player gets priority to activate a fast effect (which there was none in this case), then the opposing player gets to activate a fast effect (which would be book of moon), then only does the game state return to open and the turn player can activate an ignition effect (which would be REDMD's monster effect). What am I misunderstanding?
I’m guessing this is an example of Ignition Effect Priority, or Priority for short. Priority is an old mechanic of the game that doesn’t really come up anymore besides formats that take place before 2012. Basically, before a rule revision in 2012, ignition effects could be activated immediately, like on summon effects nowadays - for example, if you summoned a BLS, you could use its effect with priority to banish a monster before your opponent has a chance to activate a set bottomless trap hole or book of moon. This was most notable among cards that had extremely strong ignition effects, such as the Chaos monsters, Judgment Dragon and Rescue Rabbit. Priority was eventually removed as a mechanic in the TCG in April of 2012. The structure deck for Chaos Dragons came out in February of 2012, so priority was still in effect for this deck.
The only thing your misunderstanding is that there was a change in the rules, you'd be right as to how it works currently. At the time these decks were played however the turn player had priority to activate ignition effects before the opponent could respond with fast effects e.g. book so in this case book would be kinda useless because REDMD would be able to use effect as cl1 before book can be activated.
Quickdraw dandywarrior seems so bad.. Quickdraw was a dead draw in every situation it was drawn. The deck doesn't even make synchros it just sorta sits on set monsters.
