My wife actually bought me those for father's day a few years back. They are super handy, and work pretty well. Dude used to have some pretty funny ads for them on FB.
@@isaacguardadoserrano5921 I mean yeah man probably got a notification it got liked and assumed it was the same as the other 2.3k people that liked and didn't comment Ps your name has sac in it. who's really got the L here?
How did it lessen? His company valuation would have been $1,000,000 with $200,000 at 20%. His valuation now is $1,200,000 with there being $120,000 at 10%. Sure, he gave up 30%, but that increased his companies valuation, improved the opportunity and reach, and it only cost him an additional 10% loss in control. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Hi, my names Tom Burton and today Sharks, im trying to get investors in my 100% reverse engineered, hand built A4 Skyhawk. Im looking for 10 million dollars for 20% of my company. The invested money will be used to hire covert agents to steal foreign aircraft designs, parts, and other intellectual property so I can reverse engineer those planes well.
Broke people from foreign countries play the video into google translate and they copy the broken English with typos due to their own stupidity, for example if I speak Russian, I would put in “Russian to English” click the microphone button and let small parts of the video play at a time, then I would get a free editing app and just edit it, if a posts go viral for example 100k plus likes they make a huge profit and that’s how they survive
He just took a huge payday and 3 of the best business partners he could get. Even if he only owns 50 percent of the company he going to be making bank, on top of the quality of life change that 360k will have.
@@Theyoufeelme in the sense that those investors are going to make him a lot of money, yes... he's not going away on holiday and buying himself new things with that 360k
I know, when I do these calculations in my head he could have done at least 160k amongst 3 Sharks for 480k and 30% or something similar. He failed to think on his feet, but I guess the pressure hit him. If he did 360k he should've asked for a 20% equity.
@@ICEWALRUS Valuation is the wrong word but yeah he made a smarter choice because each of the sharks have a large reach and having 3 of them, while a lower valuation is a significantly higher reach
It's funny how smart this man is because at first he went really low to get his bait started then he saw that all the sharks were interested he was started Wheeling them in little by little then he dropped the bomb and got what he really wanted and Shark Tanked them that's the way to go smart man
Gonna use this idea for my project. We have to make a logo and a unique item and then present it. Btw I’m in middle school so dw this is nothing serious
He may have gave up more of his company but gained 60,000 more so good on him however if his product becomes or became popular he missed out on that 10% of his companies future profit's which the sharks made instead x
It’s no good for aviation as the tools are still not contained. High friction surface or not someone could still brush it and knock a tool off into an aircraft, a tool caddy is a bit better.
