QUICKEST VAG CARS FROM VW ACTION - 2015 to 2018 - Sub 9 Second 1/4 Mile

VW ACTION always attracts the quickest cars from across Europe, and they keep getting quicker and quicker. Although some awesome non VW cars do attend, here is my list of the quickest VAG cars I have filmed over the last four years. Sub 9 seconds was my criteria to make this line up. Enjoy, and stay tuned for videos from VW ACTION 2019, at the end of August.

Maybe one day I'll come to Europe and bring my car. By the time I could afford to do that my car would probably be not slow. Getting a 16v soon and I'm hoping to make it a 16v G60.

1:18 that Audi off the line... sorry about this description but it sounded like someone beating a dog... it was all yipe yipe yipe yipe off the line. I think it wanted to go into orbit. What a beast.

That polo running a 7.9 was amazing , it was all over the place .....just as amazing was that next Audi who ran a 7.7 made it look like a walk in the park and it didn't even look like a fast run.

well, my personal opinion is that quickest VAG, must contain more than just outside cover with logo of VW! Damn there was rotary engine, battery engine, 8.4L supercharged hemi..... this was a faking DRAGSTER for god....... pf anyway, i am BOBA fan so he is number 1 for me:)

@@XtremeGTI I know mate. The FWD hondas are untouchable at the moment. Quickest on my channel so far, is an 8.35. Hope to get a 7 second run soon.

Let's be fair... All Honda boys are desperately trying to raid all the CRV and HRV and wagon AWD parts to give em AWD. Then they have to turn the boost down because those parts are rated at 300lb.ft

Can someone be kind enough and tell me what an R30 or R31 is? I own an R32 turbo but never heard r30 it r31? We don’t have VW’s that fast here in the states...what engines are these guys using for these passes (aside from the vr6). Thanks in advance! 🍺

Usually destroked r32 will be r31 and 30.

24v r32 (golf a3 tt t5) engines that have been destroked (12v crank with different pistons for lower compression) or 4motion 2.8 engines, think in the states you just got the engine in front wheel drive in the gti! R36 engine is out of vw Passat

The R30 consists of the R32 block and the R28 or 2.8 V6 (Golf 4) crankshaft. The reason for this is that the R30 motor withstands more revolutions per minute. In addition, some R32 engines are bursting in performance because the lift pins continue to protrude. excuse my bad English. Google translator is to blame

Any idea what a build like this costs and how long it takes? I was thinking a mk1 gti 4 motion swap. How long am I looking at also?

To build a 7.xx car you have to build 3cars, two for all mistakes and one for build on 7 sec. I think for sure 100k $ if you start @ zero.

seriously, how is it even possible to do a low 7 in a 1300+ hp car? I thought that's only possible in 2000-3000 + hp cars. am I missing here something or was I in coma for the last 20 years???

I know it's incredible. The Eklund Racing Audi A5 is a serious piece of kit. It's now running in the 6's at over 200mph...

Lol. I know, but what else do I put?? Can't put 'quickest VW' as I have Audi's in it. Can't just put 'quickest car', as I am not including any other makes, like Honda, Ford etc... Stuck with VAG 🤔
