I was a beginner when I came here trying to get all of these upgrades. All you really have to do is grind the 1/4 mile drag and just keep upgrading the starter car. Then you buy the r32 and transfer the upgrades and do the tune
The way I do it: 1st gear - 4.00 2nd gear - 0.70 3rd gear - 4.00 4th gear - 4.00 5th gear - 4.00 6th gear - 4.00 final drive to 5.00 and I win everytime I saw it on a video of a guy that did it when you race, start it in 2nd gear I already have my car maxed out with demon nitrous
you can also just set gears 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 to 4.00 and keep second gear at 1. when you enter a tournament the opponent uses the same tune as you so if you stay in second gear the whole race you win every time

The Nismo is also an easy way to get crates if you tune it right. P.s "I use the R34/35 and I get x.xx time and win tournaments all the time so why does this video say the R32." Both cars are ALMOST identical, the R32 has slightly less weight and their grip is the same. You can use the R34/35 if you want and you will still win but the R32 with it's slightly decreased weight will give you a slightly improved time.
i v been using this method since i found out that AIs cant drive awd cars. im using hemi swaped fully upgraded r34 (1/4 mile under 6.4s) and the only time it is possible to lose is when i dont pay enough attention and jump the start
or you can use any equipment and start, but after heating your tire to full, immediately switch to r gear and go backward for like 5 seconds and then switch back to gear 1 and gas till gear 3 and it will force u to go back, after that just switch back to n gear and start normally, it will glitch enemy ai and make them go slower, I win pro league that way even I only have purple grade turbo and engine
the way i did was use this really op tune that makes you win any game theres no way to beat this tune so use it wisely first: 4.00 second: 0.77 third: 4.00 fourth: 4.00 filth: 4.00 last : 4.00 make sure to not shift after the first just stay on second otherwise it wont work

or u can just watch a different videos it shows u tuning and which car to get and the rest u do your self all u have to do is go to second gear and u win every turne as long as u hold gas and stay in second
All you have to do is get a civic max all the gears out except the 2nd so when you race ai they keep shifting which makes them top out at like 40 mph while you go 140 - 120 you always win tournaments that way
