I love the idea of the self adaptive AIs becoming bitter from romantic rejection with their owner, or straight up betraying them to a known enemy faction. Lots of creepy and interesting plot threads for GMs.

I imagine Maximum Mike had discussed this with partner creators before, hence the holophopne convos in the anime, but I loved the inclusion of that detail in the CEMK for us TTRPG fans.
In CPR it is well explained (and seems to be the consensus in the community) that CitiNet and its limited protocol Data Pool can not be used for netrunning. Only NET Architecture can be netrun, and those networks are separate, air-gapped, self-contained, more advanced networks compared to the limited (and broader, in size) CitiNet. In CEMK it seems that CitiNet is still around as a public net, and the (hundreds of) NET Architectures are still very much private, restricted, and meant to only serve specific corporate buildings and facilities (not open to the public). The Holophone and the Neuroport are connected to the CitiNet, meaning that when you quickhack, you are connecting via the CitiNet? So they sort of made netrunning possible over the CitiNet now? This part is sort of confusing for me.
