Ours is a modest geology not bestowed with the gift of mighty mountain ranges (the borders with Norway and Sweden rather suspiciously cutting off any sharp peaks), which makes the view across lake Pielinen from the top of Ukko-Koli one of the most definitive Finnish landscapes.
My friend hinted that a local TV and news station he works for would probably be interested in eclipse footage, and some eclipse footage was indeed shot before the inevitable clouds joined the party.
