Mary Ann McMillin You don't have to cut the face in half at all. Just press the front half of the face into the mold...if you need more pressure, put in on like a finger puppet and press down into the clay from the inside of the head. Done! 😊

you can bake the clay in the mold, or you can mist it very lightly with something household like olive oil, or coconut oil works really well, it'll bake off but you have to be very sure to put as little as possible in the mold, just enough to barely coat it as to not get your clay too wet, it also works if you put the mold I'm the fridge before hand to firm it up before using the mold, just make sure it's I'm the general shape you need it to be before putting it In the fridge so you don't have to heat it back up with your hands by getting it I'm the shape you'll need it to be for the mold.

I've just dusted my mold hard mold with some baby powder before pushing in the clay, and it came out really well.

I’d use cornstarch instead of baby powder now that we know talc can cause cancer.

Ok yes but I would use amazing mold putty or mold and bake. U can use a coupon at michaels and it would come out with more details. What have u used before
