Hey Dude!, It's an Insta360 One Just attached to a selfie stick under the left wing. Fully extended about 6 feet from the leading edge. Totally worth it when you can capture everything with one camera. Editing is challenging but obviously worth it in the end. Thanks for asking! Weather has been bad here and I'm installing lights for flying at dusk right now. Got some cool plans for upgrades before spring.
I feel like I was born to fly one. Fascinated with the exact same airframe from 3 years old I knew I would fly one someday. The first half of my life was like searching for a soul mate. I've been a different person since then.

I wish you the best in that regard- thanks for the briefing on the 360 camera , yes it sure does produce amazing shots and perspectives - it’s really cool that you worked that out and obviously, the selfie stick is edited out in the software. I actually did think it was a drone for awhile but I knew you couldn’t be flying and controlling the drone simultaneously, and yet , a separate drone pilot could not maintain those proximity’s to your aircraft - I’m super glad I reached out to you ( I have plans to buy , probably a two place , ultralight in the next year or two , a Quicksilver is leading the pack as I do my pre-purchase research. I will fly mine in Oregon and in Baja Mexico - I would hope I can capture videos such as you have - very clean , very nice 👍🏼
Thanks! I bet your videos will be much better. All I have is trees! We plan to move someday to NC where I will get better footage. You will need at least a sport pilot license to fly a 2 seater tho. But out there you'll need the speed to cover the ground. Let me know when you get in the air and check out my videos where I have my entire learning process if you get a minute.
Ha ha, the license won't be a problem -- I happen to know that bajakitesurfer is a 737 captain for a major US airline. Back in 1989 he taught me to fly, and yet we're still friends 🤣. He also flies helicopters and paragliders. @@jamesordwayultralightpilot
