I recommend to keep your regular size in all the pieces. But the bottom pieces come a bit bigger around the waist. My regular size is Small or 36 on tops and size Medium or 38 on the bottoms. If the bottom pieces are flowy and highwaisted i then wear a size small in the bottoms.
I usually wear dresses in XS/S sometimes in medium if it is a fitted dress style.
My measurements for reference:
5'8 (173cm)
Chest: 81cm Waist: 69cm Hip: 100cm
