Talk about sad...the singer is awful. I saw them in 2007 in Daytona at the Broken Spoke. They blew Skid Row off the stage. But they had Frankie, Rudy, and Kevin. They were smoking!!! RIP guys...we miss you all.
@@zerodok yeah it was 2007. I went through all my photo albums and found the pics. It was so sad to hear he passed after seeing them so soon before and he was just nailing it. My band did a show with them back in the early 1980's at a local club in Atlanta area. They had Bobby Rondinelli on drums at that point. Still had Carlos and Kevin. Rudy was not with the band either...don't remember who was playing bass. I ran the spotlight for them after our set was done.
@@raythackston1960 Bobby Rodinelli was there in 92-93...he drummed on 1/2 the Terrified album but Frankie was officially back and drummed on 1/2 the album too or maybe more...unsure. seen Bobby with BOC...He rocked!! The bass player at that time was Kenny Hillery who unfortunately took his life not too long after. Very sad it happened. Then Chuck Wright came back to play on the Down to the Bone album. He then left and they had a few bass players afterwards. Then in 1997, Rudy returned!
@@antimurphy8212Yeah they played at a local club where I played a lot. During the day took Bobby to our local 5 Star Drum shop and he bought a bunch of paiste stuff. Such a cool guy...we talked about his time in Rainbow which I saw 2 tours with him in the band. It was Kevin and Carlos and some bass player. Rudy was gone. I ended up running the lights on this night. I was shocked at how great a guy Kevin was...he had a rep for being a complete asshole. Frankie, by the way went out with Blackie Lawless on their tour of Europe. I remained friends with FRankie and Bobby through the years and we would exchange E-Mails. Before all the internet boom. Great guys both of them.
Well Rudy is the ONLY original member so can you really call this Quiet Riot? I think not. A Tribute to, or just plain ole "Riot" (since they are anything but quiet),... just one guys opinion. Good musicians though, reminds me of Enuff Z Nuff (although Chip still leads the band)
Difícil llenar los zapatos de Kevin. Siento que el cantante quedó a deber. Rudy conoce a muchos excelentes músicos, no se por que no reclutó un cantante a la altura.
Eh....vocals are very unimpressive. Sounds like Vincent Neil. Sadly I'm comparing it to myself as I can be a dead ringer for Kevin vocally. (Please no hate, I'm not attempting to "brag"). I just feel that most fans want to immerse themselves in the original sound as much as possible however there will never be another Kevin DuBrow Or Ronnie James Dio, Brad Delp, or add your favorite here....
@@antimurphy8212 I would be happy to share. I am currently in a simple local band and we have just booked our next month of shows. As soon as we get some new clips I will direct you to them, and will make sure I save your RU-vid user info to do so. We have played for some names you would most certainly know (and myself as an independent studio musician and live musician for hire). I promise you, there is a plethora of professional/studio grade musicians that just because you have never heard their names, doesn't mean they aren't better than the famous faces. In a very large majority of instances and albums the actual artists in the band don't even play on the recording. I do thank you for the invite and will be sharing hopefully in a week or so. If you're in N.Y. I'd love for you to come to a show.
