We have 2 QuietKat Apex bikes and absolutely love them. We have been traveling now for 137 days across America. We ride in the mountains, off road as well as in the city. I’m 5’4” and have the small and my man is 6’2” and has the large. Wish we could be QuietKat Ambassadors!
Shelley, I just bought an Apex for hunting and have not even driven it yet but I am concerned, when I push it or hold the back tire off the ground and pedal and coast, the bike makes ratcheting sound. Its super load when even just pushing the bike. Is this normal? Do your do this? These are supposed to be super quiet…not the case. I am calling QK tomorrow but wanted to see from people who have if this is what to expect.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOUR DEMO ON THE QUIET E BIKE IS THAT YOUR JUST A REGULAR GUY NON SUPER BIKE EXPERIENCE SHOWING YOU ABOUT THE RIDE AND SO FORTH GREAT LIKE THE SHOW.
@@WeTriedIt you know it’s hard with texting to show emotion. As I reread what I wrote it sounds harsh. Never intended it that way. I live in Alaska and ride many gravel steep roads on my Aventon Aventure. I would love to see what is really capable with a bike like that. Thanks again for posting. I know it takes a lot of work!
The point of getting a bike with no rear suspension would be to save money. If this bike had something super special on at like 3 kilowatt hour battery or a roll cage or some sort of trailer system, or some other special feature, there's no reason to buy this bike. There's lots of other bikes that have full suspension and the same components is this bike. For less money. I would be willing to spend $6,000 on this bike with no rear suspension if it were to weigh 25 lb. Short of that this bike is an absolute rip-off.
Just can't imagine paying $6,000 for a single battery ebike with no rear suspension. About a fat tire full suspension dual motor for just over $4,000. Even has the same motor.
@@cgup06 sorry I just I saw this. I bought a Spectre s. Made by Eunorau. I'm going to stick by my statement of can't imagine paying $6,000 for the bike in the video. If you do get a Eunorau, capable of using two batteries I suggest buying both batteries because for some reason if you order it with the bike at $600-$800 battery is only $400. I thought it was a mistake but I have checked their prices online
Integrated battery reduced cooling Power through chain, chain lossess You must pedal, You must change gear If suddenly stop without time to drop gears! 1000W mid drive with tires 26x2.6 torque sensor, perfom 10+% worse on normal driving roads hills against fat tire 750W hub motor on the same battery 48V 17.5Ah Good if you chased by dog immediate speed up with peddalling. Buy the second parallel batery so that motor can run efficiently and fast 3-4h. One bat On low power low current motor very inefficient , battery ok. On higher speeds motor ok but no power from battery voltage above 10A current start sagging and other losses with square of current. Mid drive with 2.6" tire very nice to pedal, fat tire 4" start to be too wide for speedy pedalling. Greater from 4" not really good for pedalling. With two bats , current halfed for each battery much less sag and lossess and heat more power for motor and batteries happy. 1500W , 30A peak can kill your batterie, if only one bat. Recommended charge 2A not 25A??
