Thanks for the tutorials! Your work is beautiful and I love that you go slow enough for us to see everything. Me and my girls are going to be picking up this new hobby. Also, I have the exact same ctr ring! 🧡
Thanks, I appreciate that! This is the type of letter where I breathe a sigh of relief at the end. (Well they ALL are if I'm being honest) I did zero planning before I started, so I didn't know what it would look like, just design as I go. Nice to have it turn out, ha ha!
This video was great as I am making a card soon for my friend and the first letter in her name is R awesome!!! Thank you very much I am learning so much from you!!! God Bless Liz x
Hi, I think you bring up a good point. I don't provide much detail on the letter outline. For this letter R, it is about 3" wide and 4" tall, not including the rose. Many of my letters are about that size because going bigger uses up so much paper to fill! But I know that other people may not like to quill on such a small scale, so hopefully these videos provide design ideas that you could use for any letter size you want. Hope that helps, but feel free to ask more questions. I'll try to get to them more promptly than this one, sorry!
The blue plastic mold came as part of a quilling kit that I ordered from Amazon. They are easy to get, but not necessary if you can find something else to use to push your tight coil into a dome. I don't use my mold very often, but domed coils can add variety to your project and you can use them to make things like berries. Thanks for your comment!
¡Hola!
