I love how excited you got at the gadgets, that is "so me"! Very cute, I was very curious about this specific set, so I watched for the video, but I just subscribed for your your bright personality & perspective ♡
ok. so I bought this kit also. I need to stop watching your unboxing because I keep buying them. I now can open my own quilling store! Just kidding. Seriously though, a friend of mine wanted to start quilling and I was able to get her started with her own set of quilling tools, paper and templates! I also hooked her up to your youtube channel. She's watched you several times and I have binge watched you. Please keep showing and teaching and sharing. We homebodies love crafting with you.
Obviously you are one of the nice people of the world, that is such an encouraging comment! I hope you enjoy the kit. I've used a few tools now and some of the paper and I'm still very excited to have it. Generous of you to share with your friend. My daughter did some quilling with others and it was good to have multiple tools and lots of paper for everyone to use. 😊
Watched this 10 mths. after buying this kit! Although a beginner I found it a super kit, & I had glue so could start basic shapes etc. Have to date used all the tools for various projects.
@@annigancreates6074 Some strips( pink ), in crimper split but, big but, I bought a packet extra from Amazon, don’t know the name! Not the crimper fault, as using on other strips was ok!
🌎❤️🕊😊 😊 Hello Annigan ! Thank You So Much For Sharing Your Skills! This Is My First Time Watching You On RU-vid Video. I Love The Way You Show How To Do Things & Your Video! I Hope You Will Makes More Videos! I Decided To Buy the kit. 😊 God Bless. Stay Safe! Enjoy Your Life! 🎄Happy 🍾Holidays!🥂
When starting quilling I bought the Yurroad box & found it v.helpful, having no books or ideas could have used a pamphlet for help, but, strips were good quality & with utube help made a variety of flowers & book marks without the cards available, used coloured card as background. I also bought Juya & yurroad strips which are good, but, have recently received a huge box of Amazon strips, not v. enarmoured with packaging as it was soft so damaged in post, also individual colours not well packed, I‘ll try to include name later. Find your kit valuing helpful. Wish I‘d realized earlier you valued kits. Thanks for info.!
Thanks for the feedback! I got a few quilling kits for christmas one year, and I thought I'd offer my opinion on them. I'd be interested in what strips you just got. I love how there are more options available on amazon these days.
You're welcome, I'm very glad it was helpful. I've had the kit for a year now and while I like many things in the kit, I really like the crimper and the paper strips.
Okay, what you said about the quilling coordinates template. I think that EVERY time I read it. LOL! Like, what do they think we'll think it's for, launch codes?
😂Ha ha, so true. I actually haven't used it at all yet, not even for forbidden uses, but someday I hope to try mandalas and it might come in handy then.
Now keep in mind that I've only tried 4 kits, but here's what I think of them. Tuparka 15 pieces - Cheapest way to try out quilling with basic tools and decent paper Tuparka 19 pieces - Not as cheap but you get more paper and color choices Juya 30 colors 8 tools - Not as cheap but the general quality is better than Tuparka and I like the paper strips more (thickness and color saturation). Yurroad - I really like the paper strips and it comes with a lot. The crimper and electric roller are super fun and don't usually come in beginner kits. The tweezers were terrible though, and I consider tweezers essential. But if you can get tweezers elsewhere I think the paper makes up for it. You get a lot in this kit and I've been pretty happy with it, but it is the most expensive kit of the four. Overall I'd say if you're going for basic beginner kit, get the Juya. If you already know you like quilling and really want to get into it, get the Yurroad. Check out my videos if you want to see a review of the Tuparka and Juya kits.
It says this video was created a year ago. I don’t know if you know this or not, but I saw another video tonight with the super tight coils. She started by coiling it up with a tool, but she wanted it without the hole in the middle. She let go of it and got her fingers wet. Just using her fingers (and the paper of course lol) she was able to make identical, super tight coils without the little hole in the middle. 😬
I am new to this, I bought this. What do I do? I really want to learn. Meaning that once I make the shapes (got that part), how do you put it together to make one of the template designs in box. Do you use the picture they provide or use some other paper to put it on. PLEASE HELP.
I don't own any of the cone tools myself. I can see how they would be useful if you want to make hollow basic shapes. I remember seeing some neat quilled earrings that probably utilized this type of tool, so it really depends on your designs for whether or not you end up using them much. So far, I haven't had a need. Maybe if I had them then I would find a way to work them in, but I personally think they are unnecessary for beginners.
Oh that's funny. Glad I could help with that! It's not super obvious is it? I wish they would have provided some instruction and saved people (like you and me) some stress.
Oh I'm sorry. I reviewed an Amazon product because 1) it's convenient for me and 2) I thought it would be convenient for most everyone else too. What is your country?
@@itsvaishali1210 Really? I'm surprised they don't deliver to India. Sorry about that. There are more and more kits available, so hopefully you can find something similar that will work for you!
J'espère que ça t'as aidé.
Me parece genial el kit para la filigrana me puedes decir porque conducto se lo puede adquirir me pareció excelente no sé si aquí en Colombia se lo puede conseguir te agradecería me informaras el contacto
@@annigancreates6074 Thanks. Strips I‘ve used are ok, not yet crimped any of strips, it’s where one pack I had broke up. Flowers & leaves are so far ok.
@@annigancreates6074 Not used the new ones for crimping, but, do like Yurroad, the strips I‘ve used are ok but, not tested all of them yet, made some strips of my own in shredder too. From coloured paper sheets I had.Only 2 sheets though.
When I first bought it a year ago, it was under $30 US. But I just checked and it's now $33. Here's the link to get the latest price: www.amazon.com/dp/B07KJHFCRY
True, true! I suppose that's why I called it an unboxing rather than a review. Some of the tools I wanted to try right away (ahem, electric roller), and some I didn't know HOW to use (husking board). For now, I will have to refer you to my fellow quilling youtubers who have more experience with those tools I didn't test out. Thanks for the comment!
