Wow, that was a good tutorial! Thank you~ I really like the idea of testing out the design of the quilt first by using a transparent sheet (I forgot what you call it). The designs you suggested were very inspiring.

One of the most helpful videos I’ve seen. I’m getting ready to make my first large quilt and I’ve been dreading the quilting part bc I wasn’t sure how to decide what design to quilt. I’d be mortified if I ruined all that piecing work with a bad design. Thank you for much.

i need some help still as i have done a dresden plate quilt where the plates are appliquéd onto a white background, i can't decide on a pattern as this will be my first attempt at machine quilting
