Quilt of the Week - A Finish for Kylie - only took me twenty odd years!!

Join me this week as I talk you through my most recent finish.
This piece of patchwork came into my hands well over 20 years ago from my dear friend Kylie. It was pieced by her mother many years before but never completed. I took it with the view of finishing it for her. Well, twenty odd years later and coinciding with a visit I managed to finish it. Let me take you through the process.
I tried really hard to keep it under the ten minute mark but unfortunately couldn't quite manage it so perhaps I need to rename myself The Ten

I really believe that we get information when we need it. I came to RU-vid to watch craft decluttering videos. Your video was waiting in my queue. You've changed my mind!! No need to declutter the undone. Rather, take good care until the time to use it presents itself. What a BEAUTIFUL keepsake, much more than a wall hanging! 😊

It turned out brilliantly - congratulations! A great choice of quilting design and I do love the photo at the end of the film of you with Kylie and her wallhanging. I've saved this as an excellent tutorial for the binding technicque, which I know you've shown me before but I'd forgotten how to do it!

Turned out really nice. Your quilting is beautiful. Did you do it on a domestic machine or long arm. Also was that a ruler you were using that was curved.
