Hello. What method did you use to finish the around the bottom? Would it be possible to finish the neckline without a collar? Thanks for the pattern! Your vest turned out amazing :)
I think I put the layers right side together and started sewing from the top of one center front, down to the hem, then around the whole bottom and back up the other center front. Then turned it right side out and top stitched. Hope that helped it was so long ago. I think you could definitely make it without the collar, maybe hand sew the neckline closed, or top stitch it. I sell patterns on Etsy; do you think people would be interested in this as a pattern with a variety of sizes and actual instructions?
@@emmayochim Thanks for the help :) When I got into making it, it was actually quite straightforward to finish off. I am super happy with how it turned out too. My first vest! I think this free pattern might bring people to your etsy page; and then they might be interested in buying instructions for slightly more challenging patterns that they couldn't draft themselves. I think we have very similar measurements though so I didn't have to tweak your pattern much! I would love to hear if other people have luck scaling it up or down.
