"That's what I call a Perfect Block" - you've got that right! :-) It's very clever whoever drew up this pattern and construction with no waste and yet be able to achieve ideal block measurements. Colleen, I love your appreciation for cutting and sewing accurately and that includes squaring up your blocks so they easily join with the other blocks. I like the idea of cutting two 10-inch squares at one time, but I'll need to use your previous idea of placing each laid out block on a square of cardboard or small cutting mat so as not handle the bias edges too much and maintain placement order (my fabric handling is not as delicate as yours). And yes, I too am a lover of lavender colors. Thanks!
