I’m pretty sure you sisters never sleep when I see all your quilting and stitchy goodness. Let’s also celebrate all things Kim Deihl which is one of my favourite designers, her patterns are flirty. May your days be filled with lots of sundrops, floss and fabric.
Lovin your quilt tubes..beautiful quilts, great stories and of coarse, laughter. The avatars are too cute. Thanks for starting this channel.. very entertaining. Celebrate Flirty Sundrops. Happy Stitching 🙋♀️
I love when you said I accidentally got it done. Wish South Dakota was closer to Oregon for classes. Love all your quilts. Flirty is a very cure quilt. I will celebrate when I get time to quilt. Happy quilting.
Great time to celebrate with you both! I make quilt tops for the wounded warriors & we use twin size bed sheets for the backing from Walmart. And when I cross hatch quilt I use painter's tape. You can use it over several times & it doesn't leave a mark. Thanks for sharing.Have a great week.
Thanks for sharing your quilt projects! I love quilting, too! I do many crafts. Using sheets for backing is a great idea. tube is a great idea! Happy quilting! Flirty. Sundrops. Celebrate
You two are so funny! I love the avatars. Thanks for sharing my quilts. Cheryl, I am in no hurry so take your time with my quilt. I look forward to the zoom!
I always enjoy watching you two. It makes me wish I had a sister to share hobbies with. Just wanted to share my good fortune. I found a 1925 Singer treadle sewing machine in its oak cabinet in my local thrift store last week for $65.00! Of course it needed a new belt and it was missing the middle front drawer which I found a matching one on eBay for $21. Even if it needs more repair to actually sew, It's a wonderful addition to my sewing room!
Just found you guys! Don’t know where I’ve been. I need to go back and watch all your other ones. Really love the idea of your generation quilt and a wonderful idea to have your grandchildren sign. Thanks. Flirty.
Yay, I finally received Henrietta today (we have a dyslexia mail lady and rarely get our mail on time). I wanted to let you know how grateful I am. I plan on making several copies of her in the colors of my chickens so I can put them in a quilt. I don't know if I qualify for the drawing but thought I would try. Celebrate, Flirty, and Sundrop. Have a great day ladies! 😊
Thank you both so much for starting this quilt tube. PLEASE do a quilt a long with Jane Austen. My friend encouraged me to start ... I thought it was English Paper Piecing also !! NOOO it is not. I have the fabrics starched and cut and now am marking it. I am afraid to go ahead with all those diamonds. Please stitch this with us !! I need you to guide us though this one.
I had an enjoyable time tonight visiting with you. I did watch the Last Homely House last night; I am like Cheryl. I laughed and laughed; so much fun. If you want to Celebrate you should be Flirty and dance to the music. It just makes life so interesting. You are both so talented. Have a good week.
I’m loving the idea of a Quilt Tube! I’ve been making flosstube videos but I made my first quilt video a month ago and a viewer mentioned that you two were trying to start a community of quilters like we have with cross stitchers. I’ve been getting caught up with your videos and I love the format! I completely agree with what you’re saying and I’m going to add “Quilt Tube” to my next quilt video. Thank you for the great videos! Y’all are fun to watch! ♥️
So excited for another quilty tube! I love the Sundrops pattern, just started collecting Kim Diehl fabrics so I’m ready to make it lol. Celebrate would be awesome too ❤️
Love that you are doing quilt tube! Thank you! You both are so inspirational and have so much talent. Thank you for sharing. ❤ please tell me what the pattern is at the beginning of your videos. It’s hearts on bright fabrics, I think it’s the third one in. I love that quilt, it’s so flirty, sundrop-y, and celebrate-y! Lol
Hi ladies it’s always nice to see your video pop up! Love all your beautiful quilts. Have a wonderful evening and happy quilting 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩 Omg the avatar I was cracking up 😂 thank you for the laughs.
I love your quilts! Okay, so I have lots of questions! So, Colleen, can you do an appliqué tutorial, and Cheryl, a wool appliqué with you and Anna would be great too. Also, what kind of long arms do you both have? I had a long arm that I sold, partly because it was just so hard to use (maybe it was the brand) with a bad back, knee, etc., and it was always getting eyelash stitches. It was a pain more often than not. Trying to get underneath to make sure all was well was frustrating. So I got upset and sold it.🤷♀️ I am thinking maybe a sit-down long arm would be good, I don't know. I would love to know what you ladies have. Also, a quilt-along would be fun. So, another question: I have an old quilt from my mother-in-law, and it's so thick, soft, and fluffy. What do you think they used back in the day? Polyester? I mean, they are heavy and cozy like a comforter but a tied quilt? I love the thickness and softness. I just use the 80/20 Hobbs; they are warm, just thin. I love the thick ones! I have three tops ready for quilting, but I'm scared to try on a regular machine. I need a long arm or need to send them to Ms. Colleen. Lol. Wow, that was a mouthful and then some! 😂 Love you both, thanks for all the fun and sharing.❤
Yes I laughed so hard at Kate's son John. He was a hoot. I would love to have the Flirty pattern. I am upgrading my phone and it should be here next week, maybe my daughter can teach me about zoom.. I have never done it but sounds fun.
Lovely quilts. Flirty. Celebrate. Fabric is becoming so expensive. Here in So California we have M & L where we can get fabric very inexpensively. Kaufman and Lori Holt as low as $3.98 a yard.
Love you two!!!! You can't remember things either like me!!😂 What is the name of the store near Mt. Vernon that carries the fabric tou didcussed, I live in Anacortes.
Always amazing watching....thank you for sharing celebrate, flirty....Sundrop....I have been quilting for so long I can't remember what I did first...I think it was a hand pieced hexie....please take care and be safe
